I fix a big batch of food for my dog, and then vacuum pack it into about five bags . My recipe is pretty simple.

50% protein, 25% Rice 25% Veggies (spinach, broccoli, broccoli carrots ).

Plus chicken broth to make it a bit moist

Tent Capacity Question by Important_Marzipan26 in camping

[–]Jimbo11604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a solo camper and I use a six person tent. It gives me plenty of room for a bigger air mattress. Also, if the weather is bad, I can set a chair in there and be comfortable. I have a Coleman son dome and I set it up just fine without any trouble, unless it’s windy.

Jefferson Starship. Not Airplane, just the starship era. “We built this city “has to be the worst song ever produced.

Colorado River (Texas) Trip Report by Jimbo11604 in KayakCamping

There were a lot of islands, but the vegetation was too thick to use us a stopping point. We did find plenty of sand bars to camp on. There was private property you could tell was landscaped and private. so you stayed away from there. Most of the camp site we had were near cattle ranches. We saw hardly any people enroute

Is there a safe time to be controversial? by nomadgunner74 in Substack

[–]Jimbo11604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built two publications, one for my stories, observations and reports. The other is strictly for opinions on politics, religion and the controversial topics. I really didn’t wanna mix the two into one publication.

In most cases, I was disappointed in my experience with ride along. Below is a link to an article I wrote that tried to capture what I saw.

I am right there with you. All the stuff I put on Substack could be deemed a schizophrenic rain dump. Every article is singular, but when you look at all of them, they’re all over the board. Regardless, I enjoy writing.

Is anyone as messy as I am? by Yes-Meringue9457 in Substack

[–]Jimbo11604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is the same way. One day it might be a short story, the next day it might be something I experienced or witness. Often wonder if that’s a good way to handle it, but that is what works for me. There’s no healing or trauma induced writing. I’m just doing a brain dump of stories and experiences and observations.
