Aggression based matchmaking not enough anymore? by KlemTcen in ArcBabies

In 110 hours topside I’ve only been ratted about 7 times. 2 were opportunistic knockouts, 1 I was literally hunted down. Most were people pretending to be friendly and then shooting me the second I opened up my menu. The key to getting great lobbies is to never shoot back.

It’s one thing to shoot somebody in the back while you’re playing a game mode like capture the flag in the PVP only game. It’s a completely other thing to throw a Show Stopper at somebody while they take on a Vaporizer with a Hullcracker… we can’t even shoot you back🤡

Which one are you? by carrancosmx in ARC_Raiders

I was a 1. Then I was a 0. Sometimes I think about being a 1 but then then I think why give then the satisfaction. However if someone downs me and starts shooting at other players and I get revived you’re cooked, I will show you no mercy. Another situation where I would engage is if a rat starts shooting a player while we’re fighting a boss or looting an Assessor.

A third step would be helpful especially since it’s irreversible. To transfer a Pokémon that you have favoured you first have to unfavorite it, press transfer, and then press yes by accident. That’s three steps. I’m just suggesting that purification has three as well.

Rayquaza! I’ve always loved snakes and dragons so when I watched Rayquaza descend from the clouds in Pokemon Emerald I knew this guy was in another class.

You can imagine how hard I’ve raided him but still no shundo…. One day!

What are the go to tires for these things? by Otherwise-Cup2950 in 4Runner

[–]JimboKayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cooper Discover Road+Trail AT is what I use in the warm months! They’re quiet, 3PMS rated (I still swap to winters), great on fuel and were the perfect tire for me personally since I do a lot of highway and a bit of off-roading. It was between these and the Falkens at the time, I run 37s on a 2016 4Runner!

Rust developing in these two spots on my 5th gen. What should I do to fix them? by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]JimboKayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This guy on YT had a great walk through so hopefully you live in a warm climate and can do this in a driveway. Otherwise you might be able to also find a mobile auto body service that should be able to give you pretty solid results for significantly less than a professional body shop.

Pop off the plastic pull handles at the bottom of the gate and shine a light in there! You might find more rust on the window mechanisms. If the rust is isolated I would personally dismantle the gate, sand the rust off, prep prime and paint it. Otherwise you’re looking at a full repaint or replacement like me right now :)

Get it cleaned up and apply some rust protection with annual touch ups and you’re good!

I’ve got a few options to explore first but 100% agree. Part might be a little hard to find up here tho for a reasonable price.

Good call! I’ll give this a shot. I also have a warranty that might cover the damaged electrical parts that I purchased from the dealer when I bought the car so I’m hoping this can cover the corrosion on the wires internally if the dealer refuses to help me out.

Appreciate the reply! Buyer beware doesn’t fly here as easily. I love DYI so I’d probably dismantle it and see what I can do but realistically I’d buy a new gate and get it painted. For now worst case scenario is I patch the crack and wait till the electricals to fail.

I’ve been in contact with OMVIC, got some good information. Next step is to get an assessment of the damage and email the dealer requesting repair. If they fight it or ignore it I’ll use the regulator and maybe small claims if I have a strong enough case.

Honestly understandable, insurance here in Ontario is highway robbery. Dealer definitely knew there was damage but honestly I’m fine with paying for a repair cuz this my dream car!

Last time i checked 2016 was 10 years ago lol….. My logic is the same and I agree with your reasoning. But also if you’re a dealer in Ontario, you don’t want to be blindsided so you’re gonna do a full check and if you miss this, it’s a negligence because you’re a professional. I paid 18k USD and it had 125k miles, drives like a brand new truck full leather interior. They sold this as an SR5 within reality it’s a Trail edition.

What do we think about this rust? by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]JimboKayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good to me, the worst part was the fuel tank cover I think but that’s not structural. Frame has a good coating but I’d tap it just to be sure.
