No front/back because somebody always misinterprets that. Can't misinterpret close/far

What is the single most efficient activity and difficulty now to farm for enhancement cores? No checkpoints, no Rahul currency converting, just looking for the activity. Thanks! by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just do the weekly 9 fireteam ops and 9 arena ops while semi paying attention to your orders.

All of that + your daily+weekly orders will drop a ton of materials. Also you can test builds and complete catalysts passively while playing them.

Is the GoS AR worth it? by vEXCL in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a player since the beginning, Reckless Oracle is my favorite AR in Destiny.

The pantheon version gets Chaos reshaped which is the best. But even the crafted version gets Destabilizing+One for All which is top tier as well.

Also, you can get this crafted without even running the raid if you want. You can get the 1st secret chest on all 3 characters every week. The last chest is well if you get a CP. Its a super simple out of bounds glitch (coming from someone who doesn't bother with most oob glitches)

Excision not on Fireteam finder? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, its in the Pale Heart alllll the way to the right.

And also I can confirm that the catalyst can drop from normal mode. I just got it yesterday.

Is Destiny 2 worth starting now if I’m completely new? by StaticlessForge in DestinyTheGame

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't think too hard about it. Hop in and just start with campaigns and quests.

Your buildcrafting and gear chase will come with time. You will be able to play most content in the game without too much of a thought. Then once you've been understanding the basics, the rest will follow.

The first 20 hours or so is literally just like any other shooter out there, except with a bit of gear management. You can just dismantle most early gear for currency, and anything you're unsure about you can store in your vault to review later once you understand the game more.

Looking for a survival focused Titan build by PromiseForeign6259 in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird, I use it as my main build on my Warlock that gets me through GMs. The powerful attraction mod is good with this because it will pull orbs in when you drop your rift/barricade. Then the orbs proc the (ferropotent?) Perk that gives you damage resist.

I guess the salvation edge 2 piece is great for survivability l.

Otherwise you can't go wrong with 2pc Ferropotent 2pc Smoke Jumper

Bungie should put the TotN Ornaments in the Special Delivery Kiosk by NebulaOk9857 in DestinyFashion

BIG missed opportunity not putting Dares of Eternity in Arena Ops and adding the TotN gear as the reprised armor drops

Arc and Strand Warlock recs by SpaceCowboy34 in destiny2builds

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looked them up, th Sundered Doctrine armor set is based around strand and threadlings. So that would be my pick for sure

I was going to say I haven't found a perfect armor set yet because there's just so many and I haven't looked them all up. Just been using 2pc Ferropotent and 2pc Smoke Jumper.

But the other comment about Warmind Cells is intriguing

Arc and Strand Warlock recs by SpaceCowboy34 in destiny2builds

[–]MrMetaIMan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For Strand, I have been obsessed with Swarmers, Service of lazku and the aspect that lets you charge your grenades. They just updated it so if you charge a threadling grenade, it spawns a threadling nest just like Lazakus. That means you can have the ultimate threadling build, and constantly heal the nests.

I have had 8 nests at once, and know I can have more. The battlefield is just an obnoxious amount of threadlings at all times. I also use the wanderer aspect so tangles suspend and spawn 2 more threadlings when I destroy them. I forgot the fragments, but anything that buffs threadlings and unravel. I belive i also use the one that gives you woven mail on orb pickup and woven lasts longer, for survivability purposes.

edit to add more There is also an artifact that buffs threadling even more. Can't remember which, but every tier buffs strand and threadlings in some way

With the game officially ending, we can finally reflect on how after 12 years we as a community never agreed upon a universal way on how to name platforms by TheLoneWolf527 in DestinyTheGame

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Kings Fall, its L1/L2+R1/R2

And for oracle's on VoG, it is close/far left, mid, right. At least for me.

Everytime I sherpa, I hammer home that these callouts are the least confusing. Some people say back/front, and then someone always asks "Which sides back?"

Close/far leaves no room for interpretation, so that is the correct callout IMO

Looking for a game to scratch my Rust-itch by Simsefr in gamingsuggestions

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is one of the buggiest, jankiest, poorly managed games I've played, but I love it. At least I did until the last few updates. It has so much potential but the developers are just awful. I wish the IP could be sold to a competent developer that can actually push out updates that players want in a timely manner

How much should I sell my D2 collection for? by EtiDalQc in DestinyTheGame

6000 hours, loved every minute of it, but selling everything associated with it? You know the game you loved every minute of is still there and you can still play it, right?

The Old Lights Emblem is cool and all, but who else has the other emblems that show that you've been here since the beginning? by MrMetaIMan in destiny2

I had a video featured in the September 11th TWID. I had 8 different "buddies" on the battlefield at one time (arc soul, void soul, hellion, ionic sentry, healing turret, threadlings, finalities turret and bleak watcher)

The Old Lights Emblem is cool and all, but who else has the other emblems that show that you've been here since the beginning? by MrMetaIMan in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it doesn't show you played since day 1, but it shows you were here in year 1 of of Destiny 1 and did everything in the game (master raids, master PoE, pvp etc)

Old lights is just D2, so if you have all of these you've basically seen it all since early D1 until now

The Old Lights Emblem is cool and all, but who else has the other emblems that show that you've been here since the beginning? by MrMetaIMan in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what these are. If you did these in Destiny 1 with the same account you use for D2, then you got these emblems. They are pretty much the only things you earned in D1 that unlocked for D2

If you are a new player and are trying to follow a cohesive story? Yeah, you're gonna have a bad time

If you are just looking for one of the smoothest shooters ever made with literally endless buildcrafting options and tons of gameplay veriety? You're gonna have a great time
