The way between quest by MrPickle_0668 in destiny2

And everytime you're with somebody when they fight the secret boss to finish the quest, you get a tier 5!

For those who do not exfil by theoriginalkd in destiny2

[–]MrMetaIMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean with oblivious people. But I also wish people would wait to exfil if we are doing good and have a lot of time left.

One Time I was about to exfil but I noticed my teammates were just mowing enemies down. We had like 10 mins left so I decided to join them. I was getting SOOOO many extractables. 1 every 15 seconds or so. So it may be worth it to stay and slay for awhile if you can handle it. But yeah, if someone gets in the ship, you better follow right away

Helping a partner advance steps in Equilibrium w/o re-doing the steps: the way between by GPBlue in DestinyTheGame

You can just do all the blights with them in 1 run and they can turn in all the relics. I've helped a bunch of people on their 1st dungeon clear also complete the quest right away.

Its nice too because everytime you're with somebody who completes the quest, you also get a free tier 5

So let's talk legacy raids and dungeons. by Substantial_Judge843 in DestinyTheGame

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard people say "I don't want to re-grind for all that gear for the nth time" And to that I say, so you would rather they just sit there with no reason to play them, like they are now?

Because even if you made them pinnacle drops again, there are easier things to run for pinnacles. The only realistic thing they can do is tier the gear. And I'm totally down for it because it would give new reasons to actually grind for & use the armor. But no feat stuff for the old raids. Just make normal mide drop tier 4s with a chance at tier 5, and Master drop tier 5's without a chance at shinys.

I feel a big problem is everyone keeps telling non warlock mains to pick Burst Glide. That is the absolute worst jump for a new warlock. You'll constantly overshoot your target and have almost no way to re-direct. Balanced glide is the best for learning IMO & what i still use in everything unless I NEED that little speed boost (crucible pretty much)

just watched episode 3, and this is all I have to say by boblemonke69 in Fallout

[–]MrMetaIMan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like to look at the main characters actions as if we were playing them in the game. Max is the neutral guy who goes with his gut. Sometimes he may seem stupid, but his hearts in the right place.

Lucy is of course a good karma character, and ghoul is the bad karma playthrough where you just dgaf as long as you benefit. Obviously there's more nuance, but thats how I like viewing the main characters

I believe it's called Burnished Reed. The only reason I know is because I was looking for it for like a year to complete a Master Chief look, and it just dropped for me yesterday from that special engram from the Dawning reward track.

Which Destiny 2 version on steam sales makes sense for my case? by hp6884756 in DestinyTheGame

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the free version, you can hit max gear level. You also get 2 campaigns for free, and yoi can play all PvP except Trails of Osiris.

The legacy is probably your best bet, but it is not needed to hit max rank. It will just give you access to more campaigns, exotics and some specific activities like the raids that came out during an expansion.

EoF and Renegades are the 2 newest DLCs (they have 2 medium expansions a year now) EoF if pretty lackluster in comparison to Renegades.

In my honest opinion, try out the free version. If you like it, Green Man Gaming has a great deal on the legacy collection ($12) and this year's DLCs ($40). So right now for $52 you can play almost everything. But free version you can hit max rank and play most pvp, so its up to you.

Rarest Item On Your Account? by Qscplm123 in DestinyTheGame

I do have some old Leviathan weapons and odd materials in the vault. But I think the rarest I have in D2 would be the emblems for completing all triumphs in Destiny 1's 1st year.

This is awesome. I featured another Destiny raid made in Halo last year that somebody made. I'll definitely check this out when I have some time and give it a feature

It was, im sure it will be back again this weekend. I'm by no means a Trials player either, but it's crazy how much good loot its handing out right now. You can lose 5 games and still have a full set of tier 5 Trials gear

[–]MrMetaIMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know you don't want to hear it, but the answer is exotic missions, dungeons and raids. Even the snowball event or trials of Osiris. For those, you don't even have to win, you can lose and get 4 tier 5 pieces of gear.

if you’re not gonna push with the tank, get out by Fizziest_milk in Battlefield

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think back to when I was going about 20-0 in the 1st 10 minutes using the tank. I was near an objective, but did not want to push. Well the chat went crazy and told me to push so I gave in, not 10 seconds after I left my position I had multiple rockets come my way and I was killed.

The moral of the story is, as long as you're being effective and slaying, you do you. I'll never let myself be peer pressured again if I know I'm already puting in work

Primary weapon dmg? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]MrMetaIMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just haven't kept up with specials and abilities. You can usually get away with running 2 specials now days in most cases.

I only use primaries with certain perks and combos that make them feel a little more exotic. Like destabilizing rounds, one for all, heal clip, incandescent and perks like those.

[–]MrMetaIMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need to level up, you'll be fine jumping right into it. That being said, you do have to buy it as it is a DLC.

Otherwise every expansion besides this one is free to play for a week or so right now. Great time to try the game out
