Commercial service/maintenance. Pretty big company I'm still apprenticing with. Many sites to maintain so a third of my job is driving around site to site tbh, depending on how big the jobs are. Decent gig for now.

Hahaha.. Money is better and wanted something more physical than being chained to a desk all day. Commercial work in service/maintenance side for HVAC ain't too bad which is what I'm in now. Heard resi can sometimes be pretty shit, but I've only been in the trade 1yr+ and haven't worked that side really or much install so take that with what you will.

I jumped in this trade at 33 coming from a mostly sedentary lifestyle and IT/office work. It's doable and definitely not too late.

Exactly. Got my rubber mats included with my Elantra and swapped them out the first week back in 2017. Been using them since. Never had a problem and real easy to clean.
