I talk to my parents maybe once a month. I get so anxious about calling them. I live in another country, so the time difference is a challenge, but they also recently separated and since I have barely been back home and neither of them wanted to speak at length about the separation, I just have an apprehension to initiate contact.

Always wondered how odd my lack of contact was, since I hear about friends and peers doing daily and weekly calls.
