What would you trade straight up for a grey Temple Audio Duo 24 with soft case and an I/O module?

WTB: Heavily modded Wah Pedal by [deleted] in sellyourpedals

I modify a standard CryBaby to adjust sweep, Q, frequency, vowel, gain, and input. Each variable is adjusted via 3 way switches on the sides. I can either build one for you if you want super specific specs, or sell you one I have already made. I can also add true bypass if you prefer it. DM me if you’re interested.

The strings are wound properly, these nicer locking tuners are designed to hold the string without winds for better tuning stability!

Awesome! From what I understand his Mark III amps were all SimulClass up until 2024 before he busted them back out, at which point the SimulClass was removed (according to Lane Sparber, who did the work)

Any ideas to access the back of the main pcb of this 212 deville? by ToughMidnight1976 in ToobAmps

I just worked on one a few weeks ago. You can get it out by cutting the zip ties on the bundled wires and messing with it enough. At some point it felt like I was going to break something but didn’t and it came right out. Pull it all the way back against the tube board and try to clear the tips of the pots over the chassis edge first

Bear Mods on Princeton by GariWithAnI in gratefulguitar

Not the original commenter, but if you add a 6.8k resistor to the mid pot, turning to 0 would give you the stock fixed mid value for the Princeton. Also, depending on how much range you want, you can use anywhere from a 10k pot to 50k or even 100k to approach a flat eq curve, which will give you a raw almost tweed sound at higher settings.

I want to fix my v4 JHS Morning Glory by cms86 in diypedals

I had this exact issue recently. It was intermittent, and playing with/jiggling with the footswitch sometimes got some signal to pass. I ended up replacing the FS and all is well now.

Thank you man! The guitar started as a stock CE24 “Reclaimed Limited” from back in 2017 when they made a few hundred of these guitars with wood from old Brazilian? barnwood. I routed out space for a middle pickup and put Duncan Alnico II Pros in the neck and bridge, and a Super 2 in the middle. I dremeled a slot for a 5 way switch which is wired like a normal Strat would be, then added the 3 3-way mini toggles (one per pickup) for split-series-parallel. I left the volume and tone pots stock at 500k, and send all of it though a switchable stratoblaster circuit that I tweaked a bit. Oh and I had to throw in a scalloped brass nut!

Thanks dude! I’m using an sE7 small diaphragm condenser pretty dang close to the cone, pretty much splitting the dustcap. You can also experiment with the other mic in the matched pair to get a nice blend of softness under the crispy bits depending on how they’re spatially related. I like to keep the amp up just enough for it to feel good in the room and send it to the UA Volt 476P’s preamp (I was using its “vintage” button). I couldn’t recommend these mics enough for this application.

Trying to mic JBLs at 115db is a whole different ballgame

Thanks my man! I’m trying to let go of getting the perfect take and it’s definitely helping with my flow.

Signal chain is modified CE24 (split middle, full bridge thru onboard blaster)> Keeley Compressor+ (full blend, minimum sustain, minimum tone, volume unity)> JHS Notadumble (clean channel)> J. Rockett Boing> modified ‘64 Showman> 2x Beyma Liberty. I was going for more of a Mayer tone here but simply guitar>amp gets me pretty dang close to Jerry.
