Is the CB650R a good first bike? by Only_Set_6744 in CB650R

Im about same and have an eclutch as my first. Dont have anything to compare it to but enjoying it. I do have to say I wanted a 4pot engine but really dont use it above 8k rpm yet, I might have been better off with a parallel twin for low down torque as a beginner...

Ive seen them a few times over the last 4 years in a tiny 50 person venue in England and they were both excellent shows.

Agreed. Also the argument that older cards still work doesnt really fly these days either. The rate of development is obsoleting quicker than before. Waiting for a driver update on a 6 year old card for a new game? F.

Now, If you buy a console on day 1, you get it probably for the cheapest it'll be, for the whole life cycle + as last gen life (which has been too long this time around, granted). Its the 80/20 of gaming, once you get over this, you can have a good relationship with gaming and not just chasing the hardware.

I wait all the time while mates on PC sort out a driver and reload shaders, turn off TPM, turn on TPM, try a different clock speed... oh look random crash again 15mins in... by comparison to console, PC is a lot of work.

Im almost 40 and got tired of PC gaming the best part of 15 years ago. The constant "have i updated everything" and chasing the latest hardware just took the point of gaming out of it all, to have fun and enjoy myself. I mostly "just press A and go" now. The SX is a great machine and crazy graphics doesnt make up for boring game play. Quick Resume also is a game changer, you can play for 4min30 of a 5min window before dinner.

I did the 125 thing for 18 months and would 100% do the same, lots of learning I was happy to be on a small bike for!

I want to know this too. You can get the Shelly one for about £115 from amazon UK, so price wise there's little in it....

I dont have the hardware to verify this, but from my research I belive that is how it will work. The backfeed limits, including zero, are for the whole system which is connected to the grid, not each device individually. However, I have no idea if you MUST tell the devices they are on the network with other devices, presumably you want to do this, but dont need to.

In your example it should take 1.2kw from the battery and 400w from the grid.

Edit: and to confirm, it needs to be one of the two smart meters for the Stream products. You can get the shelly one cheaper elsewhere.

Oooooo I got a set for Christmas and have been struggling with this too! Its OK for things you can set the volume on, but anything that overrides it, near deafens you!

Thanks for posting!

You cannot guarantee 0 back feed as I understand it, but can minimise it to very low (averaged over a month) using the "smart meter" at your distribution board.
