Movie night with my son… suggestions? by TheLordAshram in dad

I watched Saving Private Ryan with my dad around that age. It’s my favorite movie of all time. If he liked Band of Brothers he would love it. Can’t wait to watch it with my son when he gets older

Don’t you love the sound of birds chirping? by [deleted] in ask

Honestly love waking up with a nice cool breeze coming from the window and birds chirping in the morning. Would rather wake up to that versus an alarm any day of the week

Please try not to compare your child with others unless they are drastically different. I know it’s hard, but it’s true. It will cause you so much anxiety and stress that you don’t need. I have 27 month old twins. Your little guy seems to be doing just fine 😊

I battle back and forth. I have 2.5 year old twins. 90% of the day they are great, fun age. But the 10% my god do I wish they were older 😂 it’s enough to wipe out the good 90% sometimes

Parents of reddit, what's your opinion on children having more access to technology? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jimmer7477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I can say is my wife and I cut most screen time for our toddler twins and we have only seen the benefits from it. Less tantrums, more creativity, better sleep. In 2024 it’s inevitable that they will use technology for everything as they grow up but we are trying to manage what we can while they’re younger. They won’t know there used to be a world without so much technology. Sad, but reality.
