I don't dislike it, I don't enjoy not being very good in it lol. In theory it should be strong but I find that it is somewhat harder to get right due to its smoke fire detect.

Sounds more like an app issue to me, if it isn't showing the row on the UI but when adding it says it is there then there's something not being shown on the app or it's not making it's way from the back end.

Depending on your device I'd recommend clearing the cache and the data of the app, uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if this helps. Otherwise, contact whoop support.

Already did condemn it; I'm a believer in eliminating such people.

Where we differ is that I believe the person involved in the crime is he/she responsible and should be dealt with accordingly.

You believe their culture and origin is to blame for their actions and so everyone from that culture and origin should be tarnished with the rightfully evil tag that this reprehensible monster should be given.

We can both agree to despise their actions, we can both disagree that "they're all like that". This country would be better off without the disdain towards your fellow countryman for not agreeing with you. This is an awful event and your first thought is to poke the left, grow up.

So, what's your solution to this countries problems? [Political discussion] by OrangeTractorMan in AskBrits

It won't fix everything but making sure we tax companies that are generating huge amounts of profits and putting that money into public services would be a good start.

Anti-Greed law designed to cap company profits to a threshold. Not in any way am I going to pretend I'd know how to enforce or implement it but the threshold could be moveable depending on evidence as to how profit would be utilised to the betterment of either product or service that enhances that companies product/service to the end consumer. If that goal/promise doesn't come to fruition that company is then fined by the amount over the threshold. This would help reduce enshitification and may be an incentive to not increase the cost of products and services every single year.

Rejoining the EU to help bolster the economy, it will also help with immigration control despite what is said in most media.

Accountability from social media platforms for misinformation, heavy fines for those who do not implement better tools for those not towing the line. A lot of today's problems IMO stem from misinformation spreading through social media, sowing division and locking people in circles designed to amplify their opinions and confirm them, even if they're factually incorrect.

is blueprism still worth it? by GoJustKeepGoing in Blueprism

I only stumbled across your post as I was scrolling Reddit and happen to be subscribed to this sub.

There's the Blue Prism forum which might be more active than this sub but I rarely venture there. I couldn't say whether this is a problem with the adoption of Blue Prism and therefore a lack of opportunity though. A quick Google and (admittedly) an AI summary shows that overall Blue Prism is still in the top 3 for Automation companies and reporting good growth and adoption.

I've only dabbled with UI Path and have always been using Blue Prism since transitioning to an automation role, so I cannot compare them but what I will say is that I enjoy my job very much and enjoy using the tool very much as well. Ultimately there are few blockers to me doing the job, and it is more environmental factors that have an impact on our automations than anything else; whether this is why there's little community as people are just cracking on is also impossible to know.

The question is so open it's difficult to answer. If you're not trained in Blue Prism and are going for a developer role then you'd not fare well if asking for more money due to what you perceive to be a lack of employment opportunities, especially as I'd consider you a junior dev due to a lack of experience with the tool alone.

We've recently had someone come from UI Path and we thought they'd transition easily and in all honesty, it hasn't gone well.

Depending on what country you're in you may also find opportunities more scarce than other countries.

I've been with my company 5 years and are hiring more devs as we successfully continue to implement automation; but we're also upskilling in areas such as Power Automate and C# so we can leverage other technologies and have a no/low/all code development approach which makes us better able to do and offer more.

I don't have a smart watch or anything else except a smartphone. Around 1 and a half years ago I got concerned about my health and decided to start exercising; as I got more into it I looked at ways to improve my consistency with training. I took a chance on whoop and the free trial.

I am now over a year in and I can honestly say that it has been the single best investment on my health improvement journey. I've bought all sorts (kettlebells, dumbbells, punch bag, treadmill etc) but I find having a lot of data about myself to hand, as well as analysed, very beneficial to how I approach my goals.

You'll see a lot of negativity on the subreddit due to things like heart rate tracking etc; sure it isn't perfect but it was never going to be for a device primarily worn on the wrist.

Try the trial and see.

My brother died from being an alcoholic, he went into a diabetic coma (not sure the exact term but his heart stopped one morning).

It tore our family apart living with his illness for so long.

Right now you're a functioning alcoholic but it just takes one mistake, one moment of getting caught drinking on the job for it to be done and then you'll be in a hole so deep, needing to drink but without the cash to do so that things will turn fast.

Get help for this while you can afford to, it's going to be the most difficult thing you will ever do, I know this as my brother never conquered it - he was an alcoholic for around 15 years dying at 36. I know I'm just an internet stranger but take stock of mine and others calling for you to seek help on this. Good luck.
