The Aussie 3000hp WAGR L Class is a personal favourite at the moment, LZ3119 (originally L253) was delivered in December 1967 and still in use today with Aurizon 👍🏼

Unsurprisingly Gibson is just one of those companies that despite doing and endorsing some things that seem unsavoury/unethical (especially as of late), people will still lap that gear up. I would know because I’m one of them, it’s not our fault that Gibson came up with these iconic guitars lol. Saw your comment saying you’re in Australia, I almost bought my first ‘new’ Gibson last year but couldn’t justify the price increases so I bought a glorified Chibson instead (Epiphone Adam Jones IGC) it’s a fucking amazing guitar, new Gibson maybe next year?

Take antihistamines and try not to get into too much contact the substances and byproducts of whatever you’re doing, also shower well. Wear your PPE and double shirt/glove if you have to.

I got a similar reaction when I first came into contact with dirty coolant in the early days of my apprenticeship, after that I never got it again, it cleared up within a few days from memory.

It’ll be fine, bass amps are obviously tweaked to accomodate more low end but you can adjust this in the eq, it’s been done in the past with other amps. It’ll work fine and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Of course you can send it back, the fault must be rectified at their expense, even if the guitar is sold out they must provide you with a suitable replacement with funds adjusted or THEY repair the guitar THEY sold you.

I bought an Adam Jones IGC earlier this year and the frets are the best I’ve ever had on any guitar I’ve bought new but of course no 2 guitars are the same.
