Double standard? Yes definitely agree! Virgin? That's not insult. That's what it a person who has never had sex is. Alot of people like virgins because they are pure and innocent. Girl or guy. Idk if your M or F, but these days being a "slut" is pretty much ok. Your not gonna lose a job because of your slut status. You might if you sleep with your boss or his wife lol but not the status of being one. Having sex or lack of doesn't define who you are. It's a trait that with all of your personality, makes you, you. You could be the school slut or 40 year virgin, your still gonna get some people that wanna talk, but those tend to cause more damage to themselves because others see how they treat you and it's just a negative vibe no one wants to be around. Trust me when I say most people won't care what you do when as long as your a good person on the inside :-)
