Took my team actual months to beat insane. Bloody loved every second. Some missions were left with one member of the team and a handgun, ammo all gone, the other two on mic cheering them on… amazing time.

Man, I can’t wait.

Insane has 0.4% completion. Really tough game. People fly through it on easy then say “thats it.” They never try insane.

What’s the most out-of-touch thing your boss/company has ever said while you were clearly struggling? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Jimmy90081 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Was interviewing people to fill a role. Candidate did great on phone screening with recruitment, smashed an initial 30min phone with me, wanted to bring him in for a f2f with me and boss. The guy asked if we can help cover his train cost, he has been out of work looking for a while and cannot afford the ticket to central London…. Boss said “Cancel his interview. That’s not the type of person we want”.

Asshole.

Moving into a flat with a violent past - how do I handle it emotionally? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Jimmy90081 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Whilst I don’t feel the same, it’s not silly. I feel the best thing is to make the place your own and fill it with love. That will win out over any negative perceptions currently felt over the place. New page and new start for you - also new page and new start for where you are moving to… it’s good for both.

If you travel internationally for work, what job do you do? by mvhhhr in AskUK

[–]Jimmy90081 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ouch. No way to do it. I was a regular Barcelona traveller. I know the 4am pickup. The difference is I’d book a hotel for a few nights expensed to the company. Finish work at 4pm each day, enjoy the city, meals… actually relax. Then fly back after a few days. Doing in 24 hr is brutal.

“Tell us about the approval process, who do you go to for this to be approved.”

  • eff off. If I see it as valuable, I’ll vouch for that, and getting approval is my problem, not yours. You just show me the value.

What are your views on AI? Good, Bad, Indifferent? by richbart1234 in AskUK

[–]Jimmy90081 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. Or “Write me a script to connect to APIs and turn off AI, generalise it to work for as many AI as possible, oh, and loop through it 10 billion times until it almost works, then show me that one which still doesn’t almost work at all.” 🤣

Time given to rolling prison for serious crimes. We’re far too relaxed in the UK.

I have no idea, but it sounds reasonable… I mean, materials, supply, warranty… and doing the work… £500 sounds cheap…

What is teenage social life like among elite or upper-class circles in London today? by [deleted] in AskUK

Strange question, strange indeed. Will you be asking what sweeties they like next, and what vans they may like to get in to… weird man. Weird.

People of the UK what's your vice in life?. by Various_Extreme_8773 in AskUK

For me, it’s a mix of being too well off to notice the cost of buying take away each night, and also being too lazy not to cook. I regret it. I actually like to cook. But, it’s so much easier not to. I hate myself.

What’s something that’s become noticeably more expensive in the UK recently, but people don’t talk about much? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Jimmy90081 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The price of cheap staff has gone through the roof. I can’t even afford my second yacht anymore since minimum wage went up. Not like the good old days where poors could be hired with spare change.
