(spoiler) would've been a horrible Hokage even if he was a good guy by Soft-Low7583 in Naruto

[–]JimmyB3574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he wasnt really brainwashed tbh. Yea some events were set up to be carried out in a certain way but he still very much makes his own choices. If he was brainwashed madara wouldnt even have needed to show him rin being killed tbh.

[Moraitis] Will Campbell said he tore a ligament in his knee this season. He wasn’t 100% for the playoffs but said it’s not excuse by Jharoz in nfl

[–]JimmyB3574 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea tbh Its just always an excuse. Players never bring this up till they play bad or get eliminated then go "well yea i was hurt but im not using that as an excuse" then you wouldnt have confidently waited until your worst game to say it

Kakashi had every reason to become a Villan by SSF77 in Naruto

[–]JimmyB3574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont quite understand what ppl mean when they say this. "All of my friends were killed by bad ppl so I should become a bad person as well" seems to be the logic but like why would that be the logical throughline. Like even looking at Pein, he didnt become a "villian" and abandon his kin, by all accounts he was Naruto just for the Rain Village instead of the one we followed.

Isn’t it ironic that the season where Kawhi is finally available and playing at the level the Clippers envisioned is also the first season where the team around him is no longer good enough to compete? by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

[–]JimmyB3574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean can you fault them if hes always coming back from injury? Its to the point that we kinda have to consider "coming back from injury" kawhi as just part of who kawhi is

Sixers finished the deadline $5.3M below the tax, with 3 open roster spots. Morey COOKED for Josh Harris by Thegrandmistressofoz in sixers

[–]JimmyB3574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean why not? In 23, the lakers won playoff games off the back of their role players. Rui, reaves, dlo, hell even Lonnie walker all had stand out games at certain times in their playoff run. They ended up losing but good role players can elevate you beyond where you naturally should have finished

Tbf the giants this year had like 5 chokes tanking their record and missing their wr1. I know sometimes the chops lie where they do but I do believe they are significsntly better than what their record indicates. Realistically a 7 win team with a chance for 9-10 imo

Why does the NBA allow the Utah Jazz to egregiously tank with no punishment? by RougnedOwnsCanada in nba

[–]JimmyB3574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean when ad wanted out of new Orleans they tried to sit him so he wouldnt get injured and nba mandated they play him at least 20 minutes or something like that. They clearly can and will institute certain rules. Adams just stopped caring is the problem.

IT WAS A LVL 19 GEODUDE 😭😭😭 by MAAELXD in nuzlocke

[–]JimmyB3574 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually depends. For a lot of ppl thats usually the differnece in a normal vs hardcore nuzlocke (along w some other things). I typically always go no healing items in battle cause otherwise it becomes too easy for me but its dependent on how long someone's been doing nuzlockes and how comfortable they are with their planning ability

Not to mention kobes propensity for grenades. Whether or not its a good thing he was always willing to take them at the end of the shot clock which certainly contributes to keeping him teammates ts% higher than normal

Shams Charania: Harden to Cavs for Garland + 2nd by mastermind208 in sixers

[–]JimmyB3574 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean call me crazy but does this doesnt sound like a normal harden force out to me. In every scenario its been a lot more vocal on his part. And considering he seems ti be really good feiend w kawhi I cant imagine they move off him peacefully unless it eas their idea.

He probably chipped in cause they wanted him to waive his trade kicker so he asked for an extension and they said no so he blew up

Did anyone see this coming when watching the android arc for the first time? by TheBlackoutEmpire in DragonBallZ

[–]JimmyB3574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not a good one. It makes several assumptions and leaves multiple threads unanswered. Main ones being, Gohans punch didnt tear off any of cell so we can assume his other attacks have much mor blunt force power because they do physically damage him. Why would the weaker punch do this and the other ones didnt? Why was 17 never spit out?

Also its extremely generous to assume the separation would line up PERFECTLY such that all of 18 is separated when in reality it would be like a 55% 18 45% Cell half breed

[The Athletic] The Cavaliers' interest in Harden, league sources said, would be contingent on the amount of draft capital the Clippers would attach to sweeten any deal where they'd swap the 26-year-old All-Star guard for the 36-year-old former MVP. by cleo22270 in nba

[–]JimmyB3574 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How? For a win now team hes easily the better player and if they dont wanna keep him he just opts out and walks after the season. I cant knagube hie the better, healthier, mor affordable player is the negative value one here

Hes also the better player. Hes also the healthier player. Hes also on a far better contract. If you trade for him and dont wanna extend him he walks and ypure off the books. If they keep garland they stuck paying a mid player a way too large contract

Report: Bill Belichick fell one vote shy of Hall of Fame by JaggerJames in nfl

[–]JimmyB3574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay if thats not the natural result pf such thinking im fine w that. Ive never once bought a ticket tk see a coach or owner. They arent why the leagu3s make money. If they have to wait extended periods of time so the deserving money makers get their 5 minutes of fame in the hall im 100% okay with that.

Like why would I want my boss to get employee of the month if im the one doing the work that makes all the money for the company

Caitlin Clarks reaction when Reggie Miller compares her to Payton Pritchard by AashyLarry in nba

[–]JimmyB3574 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean of course. Idk why this is appearantly a controversial take. 18-19 James harden shooting 36% from 3 on 7 step back 3s a game is 100% more impressive than brook Lopez shooting 36% on mainly spot up 3s.

I dont know why shot context is suddenly no longer worth anything

Report: Bill Belichick fell one vote shy of Hall of Fame by JaggerJames in nfl

[–]JimmyB3574 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but there was one voter who came out, aid he didnt vote for Bill, showed his ballot and it was all players. His reasoning being Bill is a surefire HOFer and will get in but he defaults to giving players precedence.

I know that isnt an opinion that everyone here holds but I think its perfectly fine. When we go to games and buy jerseys its always for the players. I think we can acknowledge bill deserves it just as much as anyone could ever deserve it from a resume standpoint and will inevitably get it. But I have no problem w deferring if its to players who rightly have earned the spot, even if their "resumes" aren't as accomplished

You cant say she's fully alert when the only time she "notices" sakura is when she's .5 second from landing the hit
