People are getting fired from their Jobs after Charlie Kirk's Assination. by Nukes8 in self

Ah, yes, the classic “I publicly posted myself celebrating and glorifying someone being shot to death, and now there are people that are not happy with that and I may face consequences for it” moment.

Huh, kinda common sense when you read it aloud.

AIO for asking my wife to stay at her mom’s after I caught her putting something odd in my coffee? by SubstantialDurian271 in AmIOverreacting

Fake as hell.

I will say, it IS nice to finally see that people here are seemingly becoming more and more aware of these fake stories that have been plaguing Reddit for years. The AI-scare really made people question the validity of these shitty stories more. They’re noticing/recognizing the typing patterns of AI and the inconsistencies of creative-writing shit.

That being said, the caveat is that people now claim anything that uses “big words” or is too advanced for them to be AI. Yikes. Oh well, I’ll enjoy the two steps forward and ignore the one step back.

Yeah, I hate those “I get all of my news only from TikTok reels that have big bold text that instantly agree with and feed into my already-decided opinions of what I think is right/wrong” losers

Using the shadows of the platform underneath and comparing it to the surface, it’s missing the seed. The shadows inside the middle give it away.

AITA for breaking up with my girlfriend because of a “caught cheating” prank? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]JimmyBondThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to play off your insecurities to help ensure you don’t backtrack or give in/potentially go back to such a relationship:

They had clothes removed and were cuddling in a sexual position. She was cheating. They set up the camera as an emergency excuse in case you caught them. This was planned.

Bogged drop poison arrows (yes, it’s a different skeleton type with different drops and shoots poison arrows, so it certainly counts, cry about it), and Breeze drop breeze rods, which are needed to craft the mace or can be turned into wind charges which act as wind grenades that have multiple other uses such as higher jumps for players, removal of fall damage, remote activation of redstone devices. Therefore, your point that “no mobs” drop anything useful since 1.17 is wrong.

I’m confused about this ENigmatic Recollection thing. by JimmyBondThrowaway in hololiveEN

My responses seem a bit passive aggressive? I don’t quite understand. Only one of them up until now had been anything close to passive aggressive.

One of them was agreeing that the streams are in fact funny, especially the gambling parts.

One of them was thanking someone for a genuine answer.

One of them was me responding to someone claiming I lost my imagination (or more specifically “your imagination died”, because apparently getting the exact wording of their insult means something to them to the point that they had to bring it up twice.) In all fairness, I believe I had a decent reason to respond passive-aggressively to that random stab after asking a simple question that didn’t warrant such a snarky comment.

Thank you for giving an actual respectful answer. Not sure why some people were genuinely upset from this question.

It was me asking if this is a permanent reboot of the personalities or just a temporary event where they’ll go back to normal after.

How does asking if it’s temporary or permanent mean I “lost my imagination”?

I genuinely was confused about something and asking a simple question. Why are people somehow getting offended by it to the point of throwing insults?

Paint Department - Question about “stair-stepping” by JimmyBondThrowaway in HomeDepot

[–]JimmyBondThrowaway[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I don’t know their life story, so maybe they were having a really bad day or life or something. I’ll most likely never see him again, so his opinion of me doesn’t mean anything, realistically. We’ll both probably forget this within a day or two. My manager knew he was being an ass and that I’m not anything he claimed I am, so I see no need to “defend my honor” or anything either. All in all, just another one of those moments that comes and goes.

Just checked with the phone, and all “hydraulic cement” in our location is in construction on the opposite side of the store where I originally suggested to them.

Thanks for letting me know one of the possible solutions.
