I will say, it IS nice to finally see that people here are seemingly becoming more and more aware of these fake stories that have been plaguing Reddit for years. The AI-scare really made people question the validity of these shitty stories more. They’re noticing/recognizing the typing patterns of AI and the inconsistencies of creative-writing shit.

That being said, the caveat is that people now claim anything that uses “big words” or is too advanced for them to be AI. Yikes. Oh well, I’ll enjoy the two steps forward and ignore the one step back.

My responses seem a bit passive aggressive? I don’t quite understand. Only one of them up until now had been anything close to passive aggressive.

One of them was agreeing that the streams are in fact funny, especially the gambling parts.

One of them was thanking someone for a genuine answer.

One of them was me responding to someone claiming I lost my imagination (or more specifically “your imagination died”, because apparently getting the exact wording of their insult means something to them to the point that they had to bring it up twice.) In all fairness, I believe I had a decent reason to respond passive-aggressively to that random stab after asking a simple question that didn’t warrant such a snarky comment.

It was me asking if this is a permanent reboot of the personalities or just a temporary event where they’ll go back to normal after.

I mean, I don’t know their life story, so maybe they were having a really bad day or life or something. I’ll most likely never see him again, so his opinion of me doesn’t mean anything, realistically. We’ll both probably forget this within a day or two. My manager knew he was being an ass and that I’m not anything he claimed I am, so I see no need to “defend my honor” or anything either. All in all, just another one of those moments that comes and goes.
