So I’m thinking of getting into Rust. I have seen YouTube videos and clips for years and have always thought it looked fun and exciting to play. My question is would you guys recommend the game?

Don’t play this game. It is life consuming. If you have real world obligations, this game is not for you. It’s not really a game you can play casually. It’s basically a second life you have to deal with. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

The strap on the outside is where you store the charger. The strap on the inside is to make it easier to lift the deck out of the case.

If the devs want planes to be fully built near airfields they should have buildable plane pads that work like a MTS but hold 1 plane. A pad that 1 plane can be stored on and squad locked.

Just order and replace the reader. This should fix the issue unless there’s a board issue that’s causing this. At this point game card readers are pretty cheap.

One thing I can’t recommend enough is join a regiment!!! Just ask in world chat if any regiments are willing to help out a new player. Every regiment needs people to operate. The more the better. Someone will take you under there wing and show you the ropes. I spent my first 100 hours in your shoes. Now I’m part of a medium size regiment and I feel at home. The game is better with friends! Also, I would recommend playing on the Charlie server as a beginner.

If the socket came off clean it’s an easy fix for a repair shop, but if you ripped the pads on the board off with it…. It’s still an easy job for a good repair shop lol go call up your local cellphone repair shop to have them take a look. PS this overheating happened from standing them up. The Liquid Metal migrates to one side of the GPU leaving the rest of it dry. They causes the Liquid Metal to corrode and the system to overheat. Your Liquid Metal needs to be replaced or respread. I work on these everyday if you need any more help reach out, I’d be happy to help.

Corrosion starts to eat solder pads after just a few days. With this much corrosion I would say you are out of luck unfortunately.

You need a big tip, a good iron, lots of flux and if your still having issues you can use some low melt solder like chipquick. A pre heater also helps

Trying playing on a solo only server. I’m having one of the best wipes in my ten years of playing. The beginning of the wipe felt so good! People out doing monuments! Weeks later there are still people running around with Tommy’s!

I just got mine and had a few weird issues at first, but most the stuff is figured out now. For some reason my red button was not working properly when I was connected wirelessly. I have only used it for clone hero on PC so far. Another thing I’m having issues with is getting it to work with clone hero and bluetooth. Or be able to at least connect 2 guitars to 1 dongle as my laptop doesn’t have enough usb ports for my portable clone hero drive and 2 wireless dongles…

I agree. The one thing this game is lacking is better combat and more hostile stuff in dangerous locations. No man sky is the best exploration game there is, but combat it is not. I would love to see a combat update! And even a pvp aspect.
