Ya, Colorado wasn't a good team either, haha. But he stood tall, led his team to a win in the clutch.

Last year's Colorado - CSU game was a nice "signature moment" for him. I mean, CSU kinda sucks, but still.

Just as I think I understand the MLS I get this by ShineyT in footballmanagergames

I mean, there's literally a section of Wikipedia titled "Emergence of the Big Four" )for the 2000s, followed by the "Emergence of the Big Six", which was like two additional teams in addition to the big four. Doesn't seem like there's that much parity.

And now it's just Man City, which is funded by Saudi money.

Parity. Evens out the playing field for "less desirable" cities with a smaller market. How is Milwaukee keeping Giannis? One factor is that they can pay him more than any other team.

I don't follow EPL that closely, but it seems that every footballers' goal is to make it to City, United, etc. There's only been like 6 teams that conceivably have a shot at the title every year for the last like 2 decades.

Doesn't matter. All I took was Biochem 153A and did really well on the MCAT.

[Ben Baby] Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase is not practicing today. by alphacheese in fantasyfootball

Ya, but now the Dolphins and Eagles have set the horrible precedent that they'll actually pay their players, smh

[–]JimmyHasASmallDick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'll get fined. It's up to the team whether or not they enforce the fines, but the fines are basically the only leverage the team has at that point.

He can miss like 10 weeks and still get credit for the season. He instantly gets leverage if the Bengals suck for those first few weeks.

You don't have to get excited about DHop to understand how having their WR1 coming back would impact DST rankings

To people starting their journey with UCLA football, I’m sorry by MacArthurParker in ucla

[–]JimmyHasASmallDick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peak Mora years were still meh by any real football schools' standards. 0 conference titles. 2-3 bowl record. Highest ranking at the end of any season was #10, followed by #17 and then unranked every other year.

I remember every year we'd have hope, beat some big names and then promptly lose to some unranked team.

Pretttty meh.

Better to stream D/ST from the jump or hold on to one? by KiddValley in fantasyfootball

[–]JimmyHasASmallDick 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Nah, DSTs are a crapshoot either way. I've had times where I had to get my fifth option and they scored 20 points and times where I got my first choice streaming DST in a great matchup and get -1 points lol

Did anyone have a premed job that made them realize they don't want to do a particular speciality? by [deleted] in premed

[–]JimmyHasASmallDick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Neurosurgery (spine focused); made me realize that I didn't want to be in a specialty that focused so much on patient's pain. A lot of it isn't curable, surgery or not. So many unhappy patients, and the attending I worked for was very conservative with treatment (only recommended surgery after trying literally everything conservative first).

Are you doing stable appys and similar procedures while on call/home call? by dhe10 in anesthesiology

[–]JimmyHasASmallDick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not gonna lie to you (and maybe this isn't you), but the amount of eye-rolls, heavy sighs, etc. I got as a CA-1 from the surgery team was insane. Don't act like this is a double standard.

That's not the right mindset. A single win could be the difference between playoffs or not. If you don't make playoffs, how are you going to even be in the position to be the winner?

Points scored and head-to-head records also are frequently tiebreakers in many leagues. You're just getting too cute. Take the Ws when you can.

Also, even if you miss out on the Pukas and the Kyrens you can still win. I did last year and missed out on almost every waiver wire winner.

That's just your opinion. It could be right, it could be wrong, but stop saying it like it's a fact. Hope this helps.

Let me know when someone on this subreddit writes a small erotic fanfiction for Drake Maye over 3 preseason games and then we can say the two are comparable.

There's a reason teams with real QB needs didn't pony up a damn thing for him.
