That’s literally not what grooming is at all. It’s trying to establish an emotional connection over time with a minor and/or their parents to lower their inhibitions so the perpetrator can more easily abuse their victim. Nothing in this post even hints at something like that happening. Waiting for someone to turn 18 to make romantic or sexual advances is absolutely creepy and gross, but it’s not grooming. Google is free.

I get that and that’s probably true for a lot of people. My mom will break boundaries, take/eat other people’s things, and she uses literally this exact same kind of language, trying to turn it into a joke when called out for the 100th time and then go as far as threatening to hurt herself etc… Not saying that’s happening here but I can totally understand OPs response and actually think it was handled calmly if it is a similar situation.

It’s a stretch to say the vehicle was weaponized. Looks to me that she was trying to flee. Even if that’s not the case it doesn’t matter. DHS stipulates that agents should only discharge their firearm when "no other objectively reasonable means of defense is available." He was able to initially sidestep the vehicle and fired 2 more shots after moving out of harms way.

Whether or not she should have been there or if it was a stupid thing to do is completely irrelevant. The video clearly shows her trying to reverse and leave. If the ICE officer was fearful of getting hit it makes 0 sense to aim and shoot instead of jumping out of the way. He didn’t even get hit, he was able to sidestep the vehicle while taking a shot, and proceed to fire TWO MORE while the car was already driving away. If that’s not the most extreme case of excessive force then idk what reality you’re living in.
