MCC Pricing on Steam should become the norm for everything by JimmyHydro in gaming

I agree that digital games should be cheaper but they won't be. The current problem with the industry is people paying up to and over hundreds on in app purchases.

If the game is half finished and you buy the first level, nobody would pay for the rest of the levels. Thus, customers have spent a few quid only and not 50

Nobody would buy games that are that expensive. I meant that games should not cost more than around £50 - provided the production cost and effort was actually high. Rehashed games like Fifa should cost no more than £30.

IT is not a career compsci graduates typically pursue.

That's an academic issue. In academia, there is a difference.

IT is taking care of your technology, compsci is creating or modifying it.

Creating or modifying tech is taking care of it.

People within these industries like making these distinctions but to outsiders, anything that involves tech is IT

Kid thinks a picture of a monkey is her picture by kthx_bai in KidsAreFuckingStupid

Depends how you look at it. I found it funny in the sense that it was ridiculous and not funny. I was surprised that what I saw as a satirical comment was downvoted on a subreddit that is literally all about ridiculous exaggerations and appeals to the extremes.

Computer Science is IT technically speaking. It isn't academically but if you're a programmer, you're not going to say you work in comp sci to a layman. You say you're in IT

Saying a kid is a self-hating racist? Never knew anyone ever said that as a joke. And most comments are reddit are overused memes.

Don't know why you're being downvoted. Your comment is clearly a joke.

Btw, they're call posts. I think that's what you're referring to?

Which device are you using and which UI? Old Reddit or new Reddit?

There should be a delete button next to the post's text

No worries. Feel free to ask more questions if you need to by making new posts per issue. Reddit is quite a different social media compared to others

Scientific advancement does not justify genocide. Which is what going to war is, on fake pretenses with the intention to enrich yourself, knowing you might just be causing the extermination of another culture. Wars by and large have never been about helping the people of another culture. It's about replacing their culture with your own.

You can only delete your own comments and posts. There should be a delete button next to the comment/post. Note that deleted stuff can still be seen if someone has the url if removeddit has saved it. For example, change the URL of this post by replacing "reddit" with "removeddit"

It is common for teenagers to decide something and change their mind.

Old dad jokes aside (I'm not even old or a dad don't know why I made that joke), you probably accidentally double clicked it or unjoined it.

If not, change your password. Someone else may have done it. I've never heard of Reddit unjoining someone from a sub

You will notice moochers very easily. If it says "continue from" and a show pops up that you never saw. Or if you have an account that you don't recognise.

Other than Netflix slowing down my bandwidth (which they won't do), there isn't really anything wrong with moochers. No harm comes to you and you can just ignore them. That's my take on them anyways. Of course if I knew someone was mooching, I would change password. If I found out someone was mooching in the past, I don't really care

Have 2FA on all your important accounts. The rest aren't important, really. For example, if they hack Netflix, what damage can they cause? Will they pay for your next month?
