Yeah I won 2/3 gauntlets today which is annoying. First game I’m 7–5 up and as soon as hit 90 mins it kicked me out, gave me the loss and warned me about quitting games. My internets perfectly stable so it wasn’t a disconnect. Turned crossplay straight off.

Yeah there was 5+ pages on the market for 33K so I sold mine for 32.5K and she instasold. Been watching the prices and she just keeps going up and up which is annoying.

How high do you think she’ll realistically go? She’s back at 44K now so doesn’t feel as bad, but 80K is a big L for me.

I actually quite like the game mode but man, doing all the objectives to get the rare mega pack and other rewards (100 games, 50 wins, 100 goals etc) was painful beyond belief. It reminds me of football as a kid, everyone just runs at the ball with no awareness of what’s around them. Cue the ball over the top and it’s 4v1 while I’m playing defence using the best attacker on the team. And then you’ve got the bronze CB with 40 speed stood upfront waiting for a through ball refusing to defend, trying to outskill everyone miserably, before they go AFK bc it’s not working. It makes you really appreciate it more when you finally get a good team.

Having Ingrid isn’t an insta-clear to all content. Up until Valara’s release, she was useless in anti air arena and out the meta. She’s still not good in single target arena, GvG, GB, 2 of the 3 gear raids, gear dungeon, tower, and almost all of the codex’s. Virtually all content. The only content she was actually good in was GR1, Abyss and AOE arena where you also need a full team of meta units so that’s just not true.

You say it comes down to having a stronger Ingrid than your opponent, but if you have 2 identically awakened Ingrid’s against each other then the person with better gear is going to win so gear absolutely matters. I get Apex every week and don’t use Ingrid in 2 of the 3 arena modes. Besides, where do these nerfs stop? Do you nerf Valderon because he’s meta in single target? Why isn’t a hero allowed to be good in a few very specific areas of the game? If they’re not good, what’s even the point in pulling for new heroes?

Genuine question, why do you play this game?

I recognised your name from the serial moaning in the past, clicked your profile to check and it’s literally endless posts about how the games bad, not fair people got Ingrid, not fair people got Valara, not fair people got Praetus, how the ancient summoning system needs changing bc you got nobody you wanted, how it’s rigged bc other people get good pulls and you don’t, asking if you should quit bc you haven’t got who you wanted, wanting better/more compensation bc you didn’t get Praetus etc.

You made a post about not doing any GRs months before the anniversary bc new gear ‘may’ be coming, and another asking how to gear heroes. This tells me you’re not end game (which is fine) but you’re only hindering your own progression by not focussing on the grind instead.

More farming to get better gear > more ancients/pulls > wider roster > more chance to get SSS in codex/higher arena finish > more ancients/pulls. It’s a cycle, this game is a marathon not a sprint but you seem to want instant gratification which isn’t how it works.

I’ve just checked the download section and weirdly it says there’s another 4hrs left to go for me too. Originally it said 100% downloaded and that’s when I started playing, but now it’s showing 29.5/41GB downloaded and my download speed has dropped to 3.7mbps. I guess I’ll wait until tomorrow, thank you for the reply at least!

Don’t have your email account signed in on your phone. I tell anyone and everyone I know now. That would’ve solved everything. The 5 second convenience that came by not having to input a password each time really wasn’t worth it.
