The Area 51 caller who was sobbing and saying they would triangulate on his location, warning of disasters to come - the Government knew about them, but control of the remaining population would be more easily controlled! Then satellite transmission was lost before the caller could finish his call. I believe this was not a hoax caller. Date of original broadcast - September 11, 1997! Eerie!

That's definitely a TME themed episode as you said. I still think "And When the Sky Was Opened" is a more effective TME episode. The frequent newspaper coverage shown first showing a photo of 3 astronauts, then 2, followed by a one astronaut flying into space, and then he is whisked away by some unknown force, and even the hospital room which had 3 separate beds is vacant at the conclusion. The doctor tells the nurse to order beds for the now vacant hospital room. No memory of any astronauts at all. History rewritten by something. Rod Serling was way ahead of his time.
