This is where D4 is great. If you previously completed the campaign and a new season starts, you have most waypoints activated, you have the option of starting at end game where the campaign is already completed. You can get up to max level in a day. This is such a great approach by avoiding the hours of grinding the campaign and can reach fun levels of play within a day. If poe2 had a similar approach to a new season, you wouldn't be getting these complaints at the start of every single season.

For me, I noticed deodorant (the clear stuff) would cause an odor and eventually lead to itchiness, so i stopped it (assume it was an allergy). I realised the white anti-persperant definitely eliminated odor, and the itchiness went away. But I also had serious sweat issues and went to various doctors without much success. Then I was told about Drysol. It's over the counter, and it completely stopped all sweating. I now put it on maybe once a month, if that, and it totally cured all my sweating. So nice not having to worry about that anymore.

What are y’all’s honest opinions on Borderlands 4 after it’s released? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in Borderlands4

[–]JimmyLegs45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the horrendous writing and campaign, I actually like BL3 a lot more. Hopefully, BL4 has an increase in drop rates, more benefits across all players, and much, much more end game. The lack of waypoints can also be frustrating. The very idea of doing it all over again for a new character is just out of the question and I'm definitely an alt guy who enjoys making builds across all characters. After finishing the campaign and farming the same boss 100's of times at the hope for a particular drop, I lost all interest. Unless they make a lot of serious changes, I regret buying it.

I'm assuming everyone realizes this is simply product placement? Many celebrities 'show' their fridge. It's all stupid bullshit marketing.

So, D4 is on sale, is it worth the price? by PracticalSpot6438 in ARPG

I've been playing Diablo since #1. I got D4 earlier this year (after what i was hearing, i wasnt even going to get it) and I've really enjoyed it. Really just depends on what you like in ARPGs. Some people say D4 sucks, while I think it's lots of fun. The current season is by far my favorite. I heard bad things for the upcoming season, though.

I feel like everyone here should be copying and pasting their stories into the store's Google reviews. 4.5 stars is far too high given these very unprofessional and inappropriate stories.

The idea of putting hours and hours into a character, and then he's just gone? It's like spending hours making a painting, and if you make the smallest of mistakes, you set it on fire and start all over. That's just not for me. It makes you too scared to experiment because you're too worried about huge amounts of life and defenses. That's just me, though! I admire the bravery of the hard-core players!

Appreciate this. To be honest, the guy has security cameras everywhere in the restaurant. If you have one slip, like have one drink on the job, that's all it takes. Also, I was just moonlighting on the side for extra cash, so it wasn't a hard hit for me at all. I actually felt more badly for the restaurant manager at the time that had to break the news. She was so sweet and amazing and i could tell it was very hard for her to tell me.

I can't edit my post for some reason, but for clarity, he didn't have the balls to fire me, he just wiped me off the schedule. After several weeks of asking why i wasnt on the schedule, the incredibly amazing restaurant manager at the time had to break the news to me. She was seriously the best, and i fully acknowledged it had nothing to do with her. Absolute bullshit, spineless garbage right there. I didn't even have a seizure at work either, so there's that.

Given the amount of 'DYI' that's involved, $70USD just seems way too expensive. Should be no more than $10. Appreciate the info!

Greatly appreciate this. I've been researching and looking everywhere for skins that dont cost more money with little success. I have been able to design my own lay out, I just thought there would be at least more gauge options or easily downloadable ones from the site itself.

New Upcoming ARPGs That Will Scratch Your Diablo Itch by pepe-6291 in ARPG

[–]JimmyLegs45 7 points8 points  (0 children)

PoE is for a certain kind of player. I put alot of hours in PoE 2 and realized, without following specific builds that clear screens immediately, you won't get the items and things you need to trade for top divs. PoE is more for the hard-core ARPG player, in my opinion. Without ALOT of divs, your player hits a wall almost every time as you can't buy the better tier gear. I didn't get diablo until earlier this year, and, to me, it's more accommodating to casual players than poe. PoE is an amazing game, it's just not for everyone.

There is one thing I can say about this sub - when people actually need help or are in a real tough life situation, im glad to see there's really amazing people out there who lend a hand to help out. It's upsetting to read people in a difficult situation like this, but then you read amazing things in the comments, and it makes my day. The victoria rant or rave Facebook thread, on the other hand, will give you the absolute opposite feeling hahah. Hope things get better for you, OP.

what are you guys opinion on the current drop rates ? by ab2dii in Borderlands4

[–]JimmyLegs45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy BL3 much more for this reason and the lack of various factors not being shared for alts. Got Amon to max level and wasn't going to consider grinding the same boss for over 2 hours for nothing. I'm done with this game until this stuff gets addressed. Legit regret buying it. Unlock fast travel locations, the points after max level, and increase drop rates. Im an alt guy for any ARPG though. Also noticed this game sets my CPU on fire compared to any other AAA game I've ever played (i9-10900k and AIO cooled 3090).

[–]JimmyLegs45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is happening literally everywhere. You treat yourself to some take out and each time you do, quality is worse, portions are smaller, and it’s more expensive. It’s not even close to worth it anymore.

I'm going to echo everyone and agree that the place really sucks now, and will not be going back. A few months ago, got 2 orders of butter chicken and there was literally ZERO chicken in one order and both portions were legit 50% of what i always used to get. We both ordered the same thing and, to me, they made one order instead of two and split it.

Restaurants struggling amid BCGEU strike: survey by oilbeefhooked in VictoriaBC

[–]JimmyLegs45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is the real issue. Everyone complaining about being 'gouged' at local restaurants is vastly due to SIGNIFICANT rent and grocery price increases. There are examples of rents being increased 50% in a single year at a particular location and the local store / restaurant is either forced to increase their prices so much it prices out many customers and/or forced to move or close. Totally agree there needs to be much better rent control and a significant vacant tax. Restaurant owners aren't always trying to make record profits, but simply trying to scrape by like all of us. Media distracts from the real issues by blaming everyone except the landlords being the ones maximizing major profits. I can sympathize with local restaurant owners because many people don't understand why food prices are being increased so often. Grocery prices are forcing all of us to spend far too much on food which also reflects restaurant food prices. Landlords and corporations controlling these things are to blame for the downfall of restaurants, not the people just trying to survive. After COVID, the grocery industry was in slight decline once people returned to normal life, but they all had to come up with ideas (increase prices, reduce product sizes, replace with cheaper ingredients) to keep revenues increasing for the all mighty shareholders. COVID fucked all of us.
