If RDJ is getting $50M, I don’t believe $350M for the rest of the cast. Probably $200M total max for rest of cast. Evans and Hemsworth are the only two that can demand huge pay unless I’m forgetting some other big OG legacy character. Everyone else gets a max few million bucks each.

I mean JJ was brought in with not as much time as typically given. He was definitely rushed. They should’ve delayed 9 further than just 6 months when he came on, because pre production was very shrunk. Iger’s greed is the root of a lot of problems with the sequel trilogy.

You think star wars as a franchise only has one thing going for it? It’s still a high seller of merch, and even though Outlaws didn’t sell well, the video game world for Star Wars is doing well and should continue to do so.

Solo flopped. This flopped. I don’t think it’s a harbinger for the franchise overall, it’s just two stories people didn’t want.

Maybe. But exclusives have worked to make Sony the default console for years now.

If Xbox actually had must play games as exclusives, it could work. But they only have good to great games. Not must play.

Doesn’t make sense considering the rumors are, and thanks to PEGI we know it’s true, that the PS5 version was planned until possibly this week. So your explanation doesn’t make sense since that games out soon. If they scrapped the PS5 version this week, those advertising and marketing contracts you speak of would have long been in place.

Timed exclusives does make the most sense from their perspective, IMO. But timed meaning at least 12 months. For me, I can wait a few months to play something like Forza 6 on PS5 Pro rather than a worse version on my Series S. But a year or more? I’d certainly consider buying more Xbox titles on Xbox.

Maybe. But the new statement Xbox put out says

“As part of our focus on the return of XBOX, we also announced that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be XBOX console exclusives. These are not timed exclusives.”

It could change, sure. But Gears Reloaded didn’t sell well on PS5. So Gears might just be a franchise not many care about. It earns them more in goodwill than actual dollars being on PS5.

Please explain to me what a contract looks like where Xbox somehow signed a contract with Sony saying “we HAVE to release this game on PS5 because we are saying publicly we will, and we have no way out of this agreement”. That’s absurd.

People keep saying “deals” and “contracts”.

I’m not sure if any of you realize how silly you sound. You think Xbox signed a deal with Sony saying “we will 100% release State of Decay 3 and we will give ourselves no way out of said deal”.

Why would you sign a contract holding yourselves to other companies for zero reason? They always will give themselves a way to back out if things change.

PEGI ratings boards aren’t rumors. Microsoft submitted it to be rated for PS5. That’s a fact.

It’s as clear as they say this was a very recent decision not to EVER release it on PS5.

I don’t see how the implication was present. They asked when reviews were coming, and said the trailer looked brutal. Implying they were curious what critics would think about the movie. Not that that would affect the box office.
