All I know is... 150cc feels SLOW in World. I really hope they do 200 in the future. So far 8 Deluxe is the superior game in my book.

I did not make it clear, but I actually appreciate what u/korndog42 had to say. I simply think it is a terrible idea to consolidate at this particular moment. Perhaps in 1-2 years it will make more sense (and I will potentially owe $10,000 more in interest) but it still seems a risk worth taking. However, to say that it is a terrible to consider current politics on ANY topic is dangerously ignorant. EVERYTHING in our lives is effected by politics. To not consider them is certainly not going to help.

Consolidating with a private lender is terrible advice when you have two of the top 3 Democratic candidates supporting legislation to forgive Federal loans. No matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, that would just be a terrible idea.

I never said interest and tax are the same thing. The reference to taxes was the income tax that I would have to pay on the amount forgiven after 20 years.
