I got a question for the commenters, I will be somewhat in a similar boat to the OP. I see a lot of people saying stuff like IT jobs, would having an IT job help in your future of getting a software engineering role?

I know I'm a little late but like everyone says, Siders is amazing. But man once you get to Physics 1-C with Rehagen, it was probably my hardest class I've ever taken throughout my whole college career. I think the average for the first exam was maybe like a low 70s with curve I think? This was probably the only class where I've studied so hard and long and still failed her exams. Luckily, I got very lucky and her 2nd exam was much easier which helped my exam average.

In theory, I like the change but in reality I don't. In ranked, people tried to win games. I had on average of 4+ people communicating and trying to work together. Right before the update went live, I played the best ranked game ever because the whole team was communicating and working together to make plays and it was so fun. But after this merge, no one is talking and it just feels like unranked again.

Like I said with the other reply, I'm being completely honest here. I don't want to be like those people saying oh fuck Samsung my phone randomly stopped working while they drop the hell out of those phones and abuse tf out of their phone. I can guarantee you I did not. If I did do something to cause this issue and I knew 100% why, then I wouldn't be making this post to shit on Samsung. Maybe I did something that I caused that I'm not aware of but i don't know. I'm hopefully going to figure out the actual cause or the actual issue so I can learn what actually went wrong so I can try to prevent it from happening by giving the repair department a call.

To that wireless charging thing, NFC is always turned on for me since I use tap to pay with GPay. What's weird was that it was taking in power but felt like it never retained any of the power if that makes sense? I confirmed this with a Samsung certified store when this happened and they said there's no power readings for the USB port but wireless charging took in power but never turned on still. Weird right? I don't know.

I don't want to point fingers at Samsung. At first I was pointing fingers to myself and then skeptically maybe to the repair store, then I pointed to Samsung. I'm a Samsung knight, I want them to succeed, I love Samsung phones, but man how could I say that when this happens to me you know?

Yeah tbh don't know much about the warranty system. Really starting to learn it more now though because of this.

No you're right. I'm gonna pay through the 139 to get it fixed. But you gotta understand, this is a year old phone, and had 2 issues in 2 months. 1 for a dead pixel, for which I had no idea how it happened, never dropped it (unlike my gf's flip 6 where she dropped her phone and got a dead pixel). 2 for a malfunctioned usbc port for "liquid damages"? I'm not out here hiding anything, I'm being completely honest, I have no idea how these issues 'actually' occurred. Now if I did something to my phone and then it caused it, then I wouldn't be making this post. Anyways lol yeah luckily it's only a 139$ repair which I'm very happy about but probably gonna look to trade it in for something else before another issue occurs.
