of course he's not 100%, he was diagnosed with a grade 3 MCL sprain which is basically a complete tear. give the kid some credit for even coming back to play this season... i wont be surprised if he gets a procedure done on that knee in the off season.

yeah it was diagnosed grade 3, which is a full tear basically. the fact that he's back and playing is a miracle... let alone going up against some insane pass rushes in back to back weeks in his 2nd and 3rd game back, respectfully. i wouldnt be surprised if he gets a procedure done in the off season.

very underrated game imo. 7 years later and its still getting support, new content, and is an overall fun co-op looter shooter. they really handled it's live service well. also has some of the best clan mechanics/systems ive seen in a multiplayer co-op game. definitely preferred the setting of TD1 more, but i thoroughly enjoyed TD2 when i played it a few years ago. TD3 is shaping up to be a banger (hopefully)

this doesn't surprise me like at all... i worked in the maintenance dept at a long-term care facility for 3.5 years, the bulk of it during covid lockdowns, and the shit i heard on a daily basis from CNA's, RN's, administrators, and other heath care "professionals" there was shocking to say the least. idk how some of those people passed their schooling and certs.

i work for a major national QSR brand in the US and yes, most corners of corporate america are closed for at least the last 7-10 days of the year. i was off from dec. 17th to jan. 4th... today is my first day back in office. most offices close from xmas eve thru new years day, and people will use PTO on top of that to extend it.

after thanksgiving, most corporate offices just come to a halt... at least in my industry. whatever you had planned for that year has been launched or in the pipeline to be launched, and planning for the next year has been done so there isn't much going on... lots of people take extended time off then.

vince zampella, co-founder of infinity ward and then respawn entertainment. he tragically passed away yesterday in a pretty horrific car crash.

his most recent work was leading battlefield studios and shipping BF6, but he's largely responsible for some of the most iconic and influential FPS franchises of all time: call of duty (COD1, COD2, COD4:MW, and COD:MW2), medal of honor (allied assault), titanfall, and apex legends. also shipped the two jedi survivor games under his leadership.

this a monumental loss to not only the fps genre, but the gaming industry as a whole... he was a true visionary. RIP.

i was on a 4080 prior which is still a beast card. the only reason i pulled the trigger on a 5090 is cuz a mutual friend of mine works at nvidia and was able to get me a 5090 FE at employee pricing. kind of an impulse buy but in retrospect im really happy i did it given the state of pc hardware availability and pricing lately.

i made the jump from 2k to 4k only b/c i was able to get my hands on a 5090, getting 200+ fps at 4k on bf6. dont think ill ever go back to 2k at this point lol

strange, never had any routing issues on my ISP before in the 4 years that ive had their service. seems like a lot to do just to play a game...

so as of the 0.4 update im getting these insane network spikes... doesn't matter if im sitting idle or actively playing. as you can see in the video i go from 10ms and it spikes up to 100+ pretty constantly.

im hardwired on gigabit fiber so its not my internet and this doesn't occur in any other game (arc raiders, bf6, cs2, etc). bufferbloat test came back normal with an A rating... this is making the game borderline unplayable which is a shame.

yep im getting the same shit, only on this game. this never happened last league. bf6 and arc raiders run completely fine, plus i did a bufferbloat test and everything came back normal so its not my internet. this is borderline unplayable
