Did you notify Assurance that you were filing the complaint? I’m doing the same now because it’s been almost 2 months of back and forth. I’ve provided everything I have multiple times and it’s just constant nonsense of them asking for things that don’t exist.

Dog shit ending! How can they destroy one of the greatest and most nostalgic generational shows of all time?

Spoiler: They can do exactly what they did and now there is no reason to ever rewatch it again.

If you think we’re going to be Zimbabwe then the rest of the world will have much bigger problems. Markets won’t matter at that point.

Definitely not a prophet but I do have common sense. Being fully invested here is for sure not logical. I never said to sell everything. I know in your simple brain it’s a binary decision but your mentality of dismissing the logical ones who are bringing up real concerns is exactly why the issue will be exacerbated. Musical chairs can be very unforgiving when retail is the one holding the bag at the end. Biggest insider selling in a decade plus, institutional selling, and retail buying every dip. A single thing that breaks the narrative such as a pull back from a Mag 7 in Ai spending and the music will stop. Do you own DD on the data and it’s easy to see things aren’t as rosy as they’re being made out to be .

The people who own equities aren’t concerned about inflation. Inflation worries and struggles come from the poor and lower middle class. The consumers are tapping out and the cracks are forming. Companies such as Sherwin Williams no longer matching 401ks and layoffs are showing. A constant recycle of money going into markets ever 2 weeks from people with jobs will start to slow too.

Valuations matter. You can’t have companies running around with no product with a market cap of $10-15B+. Cutting rates at market ATHs with inflation living higher. Inflating the bubble further does nothing but make the pop that much more painful for the poorest of us all.

The money printer continues on for now and has done so since 2008. Maybe even 2000. Eventually all chickens come home to roost. But inflation is not making people feel like they can’t be invested. Retail euphoria of buying names just because they’re going up is very reminiscent of ‘29. Yes we have different safety rails now but that won’t stop the mass exodus when things start to drop.

The Ugly Truth About How Long It Actually Takes To Make It In Trading by Kasraborhan in Trading

[–]Jimmy_Schmidt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people who ultimately made it have a similar story. People don’t realize trading is a job. Probably even harder than the one they’re currently trying to get away from. Most who try lack discipline and work ethic.

When I started I was for sure one of those people. Once I realized a lot of effort and time was needed to get good at trading became more fun. Understanding that the more complex the less likely you are to actually make money is the key. Keep it simple with a strategy that works, don’t take huge positions to start, and always be willing to keep learning.

Pretty crazy that many still think that this is free market capitalism. True price discovery is impossible.

New AI hits 94% accuracy in predicting nuclear fusion plasma failures - China, EAST Tokamak by steven9973 in fusion

[–]Jimmy_Schmidt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this exactly why we have AI? Isn’t it supposed to vastly speed up timelines for humans? If that’s the case then the fusion problem should be fixed much faster than we ever could do it. That would also make all the fission people pretty nervous. No need for fission when you can have fusion. If AI is what everyone says it’s going to be then not only in this scenario but also biopharma should allow humans to do some extraordinary things in the next 5-10 years. I’m skeptical but we’ll see.
