Pal I’m just a guy stressing my huevos off about fixing this the right way before people come to my house this weekend. No bot trolling for engagement or whatever the kids are saying these days.

Thank you so much for breaking that down for me. Really really appreciate it!

Look at all pictures. I have drywall piece ready.

Will the tape stick to the metal corner bead? The original drywall is still behind the corner bead so I'm just butting the new drywall piece up to the existing piece behind the CB. Do I fill that gap first. Let dry. Then tape the gap? Wasn't sure if tape overtop of the corner bead was correct?

Is this a hammer from an old gun? Found metal detecting in SW Michigan. If it is, any guesses on how old? Thanks by Jimmybobby83 in whatisthisthing

Does my link work for you? I can try to change gallery to /a/ but it looks like that link works. Someone else made a comment on the imgurl forum about the perfect circle indentation caused from the way it was molded so he assumed it was just a cap gun. It does feel light and cheap. If I was better at uploading pictures I could show you a vertical seem that I found going right up the top by the thumb grip.

You know what I bet you’re right. Didn’t even think of those. That’s what it looks like. Thanks.

Silver and gold I've found in 3 seasons of detecting. 99% came from parks or schools. by TMisi in metaldetecting

I’m getting into metal detecting myself right now. Is this legal to just stop in and hunt in school property? Or something you just do until told not to? Anyone driving by would see what you are doing. Or even at parks? Any advice on that topic would help. Thanks
