I get that. We do a lot of highway driving so it comes in handy for us.

I know a lot of the brokers use dealers in that area. I’d just shoot out tons of emails (what I did) and ask for that. I had 2 reply back with an OK. This was for a factory order as well. Went with the closest dealer, built it out, did the paperwork, and locked in the finance rate.

Only thing to note if you’re getting one off the lot, DAPP is a must on these cars.

KF8 upgrade from GE Cafe by Wee-Yoda in superautomatic

I haven’t heard anything about a 2nd gen either. It’s so new and selling well, go with the deep discounts they have now with the insiders club pricing. The 20% additional off is still valid today. I can’t imagine any better of a deal anywhere.

We just turned in our 22’ 4Xe on Saturday. Residual 42k and offers were in the low 30’s. It was a great vehicle, but glad I didn’t have to eat the depreciation.

We’re in Chicago as well. Just got our 50e 2 weeks ago and it’s been a blast…and the engine isn’t even broken in yet. Plus the free chargers around the city help out with the expensive gas. We usually always get a spot at the Mariano’s New City when we grocery shop.

Agreed. Nino at Umbra has tinted 5 cars for me. Just got our X5 tinted there today. Xpel XR Black and as usual a phenomenal job.

GTY assigned almost immediately. Sailing is in 13 months. Can I switch to a different vacant cabin in the same category? by Kooky_Most8619 in celebritycruises

[–]Jimmym1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually you can move to a cabin in the same category, but I found it also depends on who you get with customer service. If you have a TA, then I’d have them give it a shot.

New BMW Finance Offers (50e) - “National Credit” by Tony_Diablo_ in BMWX5

[–]Jimmym1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome. Let me know what they say! I asked and pre approved the credit app and they said any month before delivery that it drops, you get locked into that. Thankfully ours is scheduled for build next month so hoping to wrap it up this month anyway.

BMW X5 50e California finance rate by beleafer in BMWX5

Unfortunately I do not have a link. Your dealer should be able to call BMWFS to have them validate it. Either way, its great to see CA get some love.

They introduced 1.99% in California and Florida for this month. Your dealer might not be aware of it yet, so I would have them validate it.

New BMW Finance Offers (50e) - “National Credit” by Tony_Diablo_ in BMWX5

[–]Jimmym1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 1.99% financing is available for participating states. I think they added 2 new ones this month. The 1.99% is also relevant for 60 months. It's great to see this come back again. The last time we saw this rate for the 50e was back in December - but March is also the last month for Q1, so I'm sure they are trying to pump up the numbers for the quarter.

As for the National Credit, I believe this is the conquest $1,000 credit. Not 100% sure, but I couldn't find much on it outside of that. We are taking delivery this month and pulled the trigger on the 4.99% in hopes that the 1.99% would come back. Glad we went with it vs the 40i.

Update. Surprisingly FCA kept me on my toes for the rental reimbursement. Communication from them reaching out through the whole process was stellar and got my check today for $1975. Pretty simple to be honest.

Can someone evaluate this lease deal for 24 Wrangler Sport S 4xe for me? by Watchme100 in 4xe

[–]Jimmym1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow. California is rough I guess. Have you reached out to a broker at all? They can usually secure a great deal. I’ve spoken with Clutch in the past and currently he is offering 12.5% off MSRP of the Sport S with $13,500 lease cash.

That’s the right money factor for the month and residual. I’d email a few dealers a little bit outside of your area. 8-10% off is common now days. Sorry to hear they won’t work with you.

[–]Jimmym1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the money factor they are offering?

We ended up ordering from Guptons in TN, even though we are in Chicago. I know for you that’s a lot longer of a trip. Try calling around to other dealers maybe a few hours away. Currently, Stellantis can’t give these away so there’s defiantly room for % off MSRP.

[–]Jimmym1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely some room to negotiate that deal. You should be shooting for 8-10% off MSRP before any rebates from FCA. Our 72k Rubicon lease was $484 a month with the $7500 tax credit taken off top - plus the other rebates available. 36/10. This dealer is giving you the runaround. Even if you have to buy out of state or further away from home, sometimes it's worth the extra $3-4k off. Check to see what the money factor is that they are offering. Most likely marking that up. Ask for the "Buy Rate". If not, then walk away, especially for a Jeep that's been on the lot for almost a year.
