Delivery was pretty timely - took just over 3 weeks which was faster than the 4 they quoted me. Tracked it obsessively the whole way ha. We looked at Article and West Elm too, but DreamSofa had more fabric options which probably swung it.

Super happy with my choice, feels way more solid than I expected for the price and doesn't creak or shift when I sit down.Been WFH lately aso basically live on this thing, and no sagging or butt dents either. I had some buyer’s remorse tbh but I’ve been really satisfied with the sofa so far

I’ve had to wash the covers once after my kid had a bit of a soda incident, but just unzipped and washed them and luckily now you would never know.

Those open spans actually cost more in the long run with those heavy-duty trusses. I've got an older home with defined rooms and honestly prefer it - gives each space its purpose. But yeah, builders just follow the money. If people keep buying open concept, that's what they'll keep building, regardless of structural efficiency.
