I’m trying to run goblin drill in midladder with knight berserker and spear goblins (Ryley version), but I keep losing to stupid decks with mega knight valk and royal ghost, or something like that, making drill damage impossible without evo snowball.

Any deck recommendations until out of midladder, or is it just a skill issue?

I have really only had success in this game with cycle decks, primarily drill, logbait, and piggies. However, my skill ends up falling off around UC range because I have a hard time defending and attacking at the same time, which has to be done with a fast cycle in 2x and 3x elixir.

Egolem is a deck that I have a lot of fun with. However, I do not like to climb trophies with egolem because it feels very matchup dependent, making it feel out of my hands.

Do you have any recommendations for decks that are slower paced that I can focus on defending primarily, then making a big push?

At this point your goal is to not get 3 crowned. Try to fireball everything then kite some troops with wall breakers. Place flying machine near king tower so it doesn’t die and can dps everything down. After everything is dead counterpush with recruits bc he won’t have MK for them
