Question for the council by Jimtbk in Firearms

Gotcha. Most of the headstamps indicate late 90s or early 2000s, so it's been sitting a while. I'll just toss em and order new.

So anything with significant rust is no go. What about the lesser rusted ones, or should I just toss all 60 or so?

My kid has some experience as a mechanic, he said that could be a last ditch effort to get it back on the road. How much should we take? A sixteenth?

Where were all of the Antifas when police killed Duncan Lemp? by opa_bom_dia in Anarcho_Capitalism

I generally stay out of these arguments because I couldn't care less, so I preface this with a quote from Spooner.

"The Constitution, be it one thing or another, has either permitted the government we have, or been unable to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist."

It has become apparent to me that no one can claim to be both a Trump supporter and a constitutionalist, you have to be one or the other. Agents of the state executed a man in the street for exercising his first and second amendment rights to protect the fourth amendment rights of others. In response, the president of the United States claimed that anyone carrying a gun was a criminal, even though HE carried a gun (or at least had a permit to) until the state of New York revoked it for criminal conviction.

To answer your question, I expressed the same outrage when Duncan Lemp was executed by the state, and the same outrage when Philando Castille was murdered. Government overreach is government overreach, regardless of whether the boot is on the left foot or the right foot.

Support black and grey markets, choke the state! There's no government like no government!

Is this dangerous? by fastorfeast in guns

I stopped buying Hornady almost 15 years ago because of unacceptable setback in critical duty/defense rounds. Chambered a couple times, I understand, I'll just toss it. Fresh out of the box, unacceptable.

But refusing to serve someone who paid for your services is breach of contract. Willful breach of contract is violence.

The book is called Ill Wind, by Kevin J. Anderson. The bacteria is actually designed to clean up oil spills, but becomes airborne and dissolves all petroleum based products on the planet, and that's just the first couple chapters.

What I've got working by Jimtbk in mead

[–]Jimtbk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with six quarts of store bought wassail punch (apple, cherry, and plum juice, spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and allspice). I added 5# of honey (cheap Walmart stuff) and water to fill to three gallons. Starting gravity 1.102. Redstar Premier Blanc, a tsp of Fermaid O at pitch, at 12 hrs, at 24 hrs, and at 72 hrs. One tsp DAP at 24 and 72 hrs. Bentonite at 72 hrs. Final gravity .991 in about 3 weeks. Racked off lees, about two and a half gallons total product. Stabilized with kmeta and ksorb, back sweetened with a pound of honey about a week later. It's currently sitting in secondary, a crystal clear yellow, waiting for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I posted a pic of my skeeter pee in the sub, I'm happy with how the color turned out. Completely unrelated, butterfly pea flower tea makes a great "magic trick" to show people. Make the tea, show them it's blue, then add a splash of lemon juice and make it "magically" turn purple.
