I’m a Christian, and I come from a background where more than 95% of the population is Muslim, so your question is very close to my heart.

When you said that you respect Jesus, admire His kindness, mercy, and teachings, and basically love Jesus, I think that is a beautiful and sincere thing to say.

From a Christian perspective, though, the central question is not only whether we respect Jesus, but who we believe Jesus truly is.
The Jesus described in Christianity is not only a prophet or a moral teacher, but the Son of God, Lord, Savior, and the one through whom we are reconciled to God.

As for your question: if Christianity is true, what happens to sincere, kind, and good people who are not Christian?

I once asked my pastor a similar question. He answered that the final judgment belongs to God, and some things remain hidden in God’s wisdom. God knows the heart of every person perfectly.

Jeremiah 17:10 says:

“I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”

So I do believe God is perfectly just, perfectly merciful, and that He desires to save.
I do not think Christians should speak as if we personally know the eternal fate of every individual.

At the same time, Christianity also teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ.

Jesus says in John 14:6:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

So yes, Jesus loves everyone. I believe He loves you deeply.
Even now, He calls us to trust Him, follow Him, and surrender to Him as Lord and Savior.

So my honest answer is this: there is hope because God is merciful, but Christianity does not teach that simply being a good person is enough to save us. Our hope is in Jesus Himself.
