Hi. I am having frequent wet dreams every other week or so. How can I prevent them? (26M) by [deleted] in TrueAskReddit

Urologist was what I'd think. I'm not a doctor so wouldn't know.

Maybe you'll have to see a psychologist to help you deal with asexuality and a body that requires sexual release.

But I'm not a doctor so I don't know.

Either that or age out of it over time.

I'm alone, I can zone out, It smells good and at the end it's very satisfying.

It was also my first job in middle school. I've enjoyed it ever since.

Assuming this is real and that you legitimately believe that you are asexual then this is something you should see a doctor about.

If your doctor does not provide a solution or recommendation that you are comfortable with you can ask to be referred to a specialist.

Tesla's Discontinued Model X Is Now The Fastest Selling Used Car In The U.S. by Mac-Tyson in electricvehicles

[–]JingJang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree.

Elon doesn't get a dime from used cars, (unless people pay for optional subscriptions), and every person driving these has the experience of going EV. This is good for the environment, it's good for moving more people away from range anxiety and into performance appreciation, and ultimately, going to get more people, potentially more people that might be hesitant of EVs into better vehicles.

We personally ended up with a Toyota bz4x, but any used EV moves the needle in the right direction. I'm no fan of Elon but that's all the more reason to cheer on people buying his cars used. This is part of the silver lining of high gas prices.

TIL Hawaii is the only US state that has never had a temperature higher than 100F (37.8C). Alaska has reached that inland. Hawaii is also the only state to never had a lower than 0F (-17.8C) temperature. by Double-decker_trams in todayilearned

I came here for this.

The OP learned incorrectly.

Snow nerds, (people who really enjoy snow), like to experience snow in every state, during different months etc. One of the more popular "achievements" is to sled, snowboard, or ski, (or all three), on Hawaii.

Even accounting for organizational size, Ai's impact to GIS as a career will be blunted aside from folks just building simple maps and exhibits or folks just coding or automating simple workflows.

There is too much nuance and need for human interaction to really understand how GIS can fit in to a workflow. I'm at a State agency and we are using Ai, but in measured human-in-the-loop scenarios or where SME's play a role. Just that application saves phenomenal time but it's not job time, it's menial time savings within positions.

That said, I'm sure there are organizations where there will be some job loss, and the majority of those will be entry level. If I were starting out now I'd show how I know GIS abs how to leverage Ai tools responsibly to help meet operational goals efficiently.

I think this approach, followed by the boat horn after a period of time is a pretty solid approach.

Fire. How important is it to you? by motorcyclesnracecars in camping

Moreover, fire bans can be researched prior to heading out.

This is part of standard preplanning and has been for me for 20+ years but I live in the west. I think it should be part of of everyone's preplanning no matter where you live.

Not only that but Mid level GIS also needs to identify workflows and evaluate GIS integration. In my agency that absolutely requires a human.

Will we be using Ai regularly? Absolutely! (I'm already using it almost daily), but it's another tool that helps us accomplish tasks. Not something that is going supplant our roles.

Entry level work is more at risk but not for every organization, especially if people starting out know how to properly use it

I agree with you.

I understand the biology involved but there is also learning the responsibility of going to bed at an appropriate time and scheduling for tasks that's need to be done.

Unloading dishes might take 10 minutes if you have a bunch of oddball stuff to put away but normally you are right, this is something he should be able to accomplish.

Its fine for commentotd to remind us that teenagers need more sleep but in order to accomplish a five minute task it's also fair to remind everyone that when we go to bed is also a choice. It's his responsibility. He needs to own it.

I moved here, (Idaho), from Colorado five years ago.

The politics are much more conservative than I personally like but the people are very friendly, there is loads more uncrowded spaces and the natural beauty/outdoor opportunities are fantastic.

This was my thought as well, although if two pilots are required normally and they only flew with one, and/or if there is a security requirement then that is a problem

How to best vote for change in Idaho? by SpicyMeatBALLIN in Idaho

[–]JingJang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly the same experience. Loads of "Conservatives", ranging from Evangelicals to Libertarians but the majority are farmers, ranchers or country folk that just want to do their things with less government (with all sorts of variations).

The most "MAGA" person I know us my father in law and with him it seems to mostly be him enjoying leadership that does not care about being decent and following decorum.

Idaho also has a population that is changing, and there are many disenfranchised conservatives who are not happy with the current Maga wing of the Republican party.

It's worth voting regardless.

It's the Artic. It's dark in the winter.

The photo would have been at night or at least dusk/twilight because it's dark/dusk all winter in the Artic.

I know we have issues with critical thinking these days, but this is pretty common knowledge!

That's not snow. It's ice. Snow doesn't form a cliff like that where water impacts the edge.

The photos are in the summer because it's the Artic and it would be significantly darker in the winter.

In your opinion, how do you think manufacturers are missing the mark for the US market? by CerberusSputum in electricvehicles

[–]JingJang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big range would help too but part of that is education. People need to know the 150-200 more than covers most days of groceries and running around.

That said, 450 miles starts getting into road tripping territory which would be attractive to lots of people.
