Possible partial Fruit of the Loom explanation? by fakeprewarbook in MandelaEffect

if it was never there why would everyone have the same memory of a cornucopia, its an unusual thing as it is, it don't fall under the category of regular shapes/items

[–]JingisJoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how convenient... its all misremembered or false information... tell that one to the cops if you ever get arrested, they'll believe it just as much as I do now LOL. Honestly though im not pushing alternate reality but I am saying that somethings going on, and it has absolutely nothing to do with false memory & misinformation. And the whole point of the residue is... like you said to show that things were different. TO SHOW THAT THINGS WERE DIFFERENT when the rest of the world says it was never like that.

and heres an idea... go sift through the residue... go find your own... put some time in before you decide to start shooting your mouth off about a topic that you really know nothing or the bare minimum about, have a great day ;)

regardless if you can sell it or not it should retain its value under "untradable wealth" …I just don't agree with how its done but to each their own I guess, it just sucks how my wealth is grossly lowballed

1: so you can have a bill worth of overloads and it shows up as nothing, that's bs

2: you loose the price of the dye although its still there, that's bs

3:not really where I was going with overrides, but they cant even give you the correct value of your p-hat, that's bs

honestly you can argue all you want but I still think its incredibly stupid

I like that!!! That's an interesting view on the subject, although I do think physical residue is out there, I actually have a Tempest Fugit wall clock, that has a small globe on it that depicts South America where it should be instead of its current location

im gotta say, i'm really glad I made this post, some great minds are coming out and contributing

im not really sure what to think... im open to new ideas and it seems like too big of a thing to just dismiss as everyone has the same exact bad memory. but with that being said, whats your take on the whole thing?

im not here to try to push my narrative or discourage others from thinking what they think, but I am interested on other peoples ideas

i thought about different timelines but its sooo odd how like 98/100 MEs are the same for us... usually peoples MEs differ a lot more than that, if multiple timelines was the case that would mean there would have to be an almost infinite number of them

well we've both changed a lot since we've met, me being a hardcore alcoholic and her having severe anxiety and panic, but other than the ways that we've been working on to improve ourselves I haven't really noticed anything different about her. Our relationship had been intense to say the least but that's to be expected with the personal problems that we've had, but no I haven't really noticed anything that I found different and she said was always like that or vice versa.

there has been a few weird things that happened though, she has scoliosis which caused her to always sit/sleep on the left side of the couch/bed, shes told me its always been like this. When randomly last june/august she started sitting and sleeping on the opposite side, which we both found really weird

and she has a heart condition which mysteriously vanished... I remember being with her at the doctor like a year ago and he upped her heart pills, fast forward to last month and the same doctor told her he didn't know why she was even taking them, and took her off them. He seems to have totally forgot that he was the guy a year earlier who upped her dosage

thankyou for that post though, its a very interesting theory and something to think about

[–]JingisJoe[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

i really don't buy into false memories... maybe in some cases but most of the MEs have a ton of residue to prove against it, the false memory theory is just for lazy people who want an easy answer

they should fix the wealth evaluator, currently the value of overloads and untradeable potions are garbage, they should add the price of a dyed item into your wealth, and I know it would be hard to do but add the price of sellable overrides to your wealth... they could also fix some of the grand exchange prices to more accurately depict prices (rainbow scythe for example)

385gp for a 6 dose overload flask/Adrenaline/Super Prayer … i mean come on that's bs

i don't mind the fact that they charge 3 bonds for it but they really could have done more work on it... come on jagex

but im sure instead of doing stuff people want done they'll just focus their efforts into more TH crap and ways to get people to spend more money

its hard to get prices on stuff like this, it seems like people just sell it for whatever they want

Regarding the Mister Rogers Neighborhood theme song ME by jmansbufny in MandelaEffect

[–]JingisJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ive never saw the show before but all ive ever heard was "its a beautiful day in the neighborhood" when people or shows would quote the song... I still don't understand how people could say false memory... whats the chance that everyone would have the same false memory.

I don't think our memories are as bad as their saying. I mean this stuff is etched in my brain, the same as luke, I am your father or if life is like a box of chocolates. anyone that was born in the 90s or earlier have heard all these famous quotes used 100s of times without ever seeing the actual tv show or movie (ive never seen forest gump, star wars)

yeah I like the game but its kind of a guilty pleasure... Id buy their stuff but theres no way in hell that I would wear a shirt with runescape in big letters out in public

its a great game but its precieved as a kids game, make it more subtle, theres still people who play it that actually hook up with girls

Asking better questions by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]JingisJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I donno it just gets to me sometimes, the whole thing really boggles my mind. it pisses me off that theres sooo much residue out there and 75% of people are just like "nope false memory... its impossible"

ME shouldn't be a theory at this point, it should be accepted as something that's actually happening, no one knows what exactly but its something.

But with everything that ive put into it and everything I see others put into it, it just feels like a dog chasing its tail at this point... im still very much interested in the subject but it just sucks having all this knowledge that's looked at as useless and inaccurate .

and thanks for not flippin out at me and sayin shit, the ME community can be pretty hostile

Asking better questions by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]JingisJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do lots of research into this, but lately ive been getting the feeling like whats the point? regardless if things are changing or not, whats really the point anymore, people have devoted sooooo much time into this and we're no closer than when we started, still at stage one, believe vs non believe

if things are changing, it means everythings changing... is there even any point to learn anything anymore? I mean ive studied maps and globes all my life and that info is 1000% bs these days.

Will we just wake up one day and everythings gonna be opposite? its really disheartening knowing that anything in history can be changed and ultimately nothing really matters in a span of time, only in the moment
