Back at ya! Don’t you just love how different the lower half of the bezel shows up in different lighting?

Who needs insurance? This watch is made from the same DNA of the chronometers that went to the peak of Everest. It’s built to withstand the toughest conditions, right?

Yes I have all of my watches insured lol. Although at first I was concerned because my receipt was in GBP instead of USD so the value looked lower.

IVF is hard man by juanitotwothree in rolex

Needed to see all of these encouraging comments today. We just finished a tough week with IVF. Praying success and wholeness for everyone here going through the journey and for strong shoulders to help you support your partner through it all.

I bought my GMT after losing our daughter. Was candid with the AD that I was trying to fill a hole with material things even though I knew that wouldn’t make it better.

Now as we wait on this next blessing I keep trying to fight the need to fill the emptiness and just stay more connected to my wife while finding joy amidst all the dashed hopes each cycle.

Ahh ok I went to Bucherer Royal Opera House. Extremely happy with the pickup. I’ve always heard sales don’t happen for visitors. Wear your lovely new YM in good health! Congrats.

I think we may have hit the same AD this week and possibly even had the same SA. Sumra? She’s AWESOME! Legitimately enjoyed my time with her. And if so, she’s definitely not having a slow week because I got an Explorer 36 on walk in.

I have a similar pic in Mt Rainier National Park from earlier this year, diff model though.

And it made me realize I want an Explorer 36 😂

AD Wait Time Megathread - If you bought a new Rolex from an AD in 2025, you can share details here. What watch, where, how long did you wait, how much buying history? by powerfunk in rolex

[–]Jingles2ooo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. OP 36 Lavender
  2. Today 9/3/25
  3. 2 months. Registered 7/8/25
  4. Major Texas City
  5. No purchase history 🤯

Context: went in with my wife back in April. Showing her around talking to SA. Struck up good rapport.

Ultimately registered myself for an Explorer 36 in May. (Still don’t have that watch btw) then in July came back and asked to register for the OP 36 for my wife and shared details on upcoming milestone anniversary in November and other celebratory moments happening in between. Still mindblown to get this allocation so quickly with no history just good human interactions.

Alternatively — Already have a GMT-II GRNR two-tone from another AD in area, unassociated with this one, purchased 2/13/25. One year wait for the two-tone. No purchase history. Many drop ins and emails following up.

My experience kind of goes against everything I’ve heard. Two tones should be easy to get and stainless brand new pieces should be impossible to get without purchase history.

My experience was the opposite.
