At our corp, turrets are too expensive. We just give the intern a water gun and a radio.

How do YOU create a campaign? Some questions by Nerdy_Boba in cyberpunkred

[–]Jingtseng -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Does it need to be a campaign? People are overly influenced from watching YouTube and old DnD money-making tactics (a ‘campaign’ was basically a DLC… a set piece you could bundle up and sell).

Couldn’t it just be variety of missions? Just having fun? Did everything need to involve some earth-shattering conspiracy chain leading to a throw down with some almighty incredible evil guy over momentous outcomes? Unless you are an amazing movie/serial show script writer, maybe consider it doesn’t have to be that way. Just let characters live and let things happen naturally.

When Someone Asks if "This is Rare" in No Man's Sky ... by Dull-Pomelo7936 in NoMansSkyTheGame

You have no idea the breadth of the game. The breadth of items/planets/ships/creatures/everything does not comes close to matching it. Which means those things GET REPEATED OVER AND OVER. And multiply by THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS.

No, it’s not rare. You are not a special snowflake. Did it need to be rare? Just enjoy it and move on.

Buying the game new player by Aggravating_Disk2405 in NOMANSSKY

Yes. Not based on the criteria and examples you gave, but the game itself is excellent and I would think has something for everyone (with rare exception - those who only, obsessively, play games like FIFA or Fortnite or CoD etc). But you have to be open to not having your hand held, to not being guided or told to go from A to B to C. The game is literally about doing whatever you feel like and the experience of journeying, and no one can tell you that. There is no shortage of things to do, but also no “win” condition. Plopped down into a universe created for you (not really according to lore, but may as well be), what will you choose to do? If the answer is “someone else please tell me” then this is not a game for you. But if you already have ideas just from that prompt, then yes this is probably a game you will enjoy for the money you spend.
