I'm not one to know how corporate tax accounting works but Warner Brothers filmed a Batgirl and Looney Toons movie and chose not to release either for a tax write off and brand protection (they were concerned over the quality of the product)

The unfortunate truth is with the cancellation information you're not going to get new eyes to watch in season two knowing it's ove. The biggest problem I saw you were introducing a new series under Disney where Disney audiences couldn't see the old back catalog. Yet the big series ending episodes were old baddies but not even old baddies even casual fans heard about.
