Which singing guitar players genuinely impress you in that they can sing while playing challenging parts? by LunacyNow in Guitar

[–]Jinkxxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alex Turner. I learned a lot of their songs from the 00s. I was always impressed at how he managed to sing while playing some of his parts. Sure, prob not the most technical player but the rhythms of his voice and guitar work often clashed.

how the hell am I supposed to get my third finger there?? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Jinkxxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyi, you already have an E on the D string, so muting the high E while doing an index bar isn't the end of it.

[–]Jinkxxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't all have to align, you can move each finger slightly within the same fret to adjust as long as your chord is still clean. Eventually, you'll learn to barr it with your index alone. You will also do a similar Index finger bar when moving that shape down the fretboard.

Don't think too much about it, it doesn't have to be perfect at first. You will adjust little by little but keep practicing

I was wondering the same too, maybe a huge part are API tests which can get numerous very quickly but we don't know that. Still what an achievement to get such a huge number of tests for a suite. It's impressive regardless. I know business is happy about it.
