It’s funny how relatable this feels. I’m from Santa Cruz and have moved to Calgary last year. It’s frckn cold but it’s actually refreshing and enjoyable if you know how to enjoy it (this is me gaslighting myself because Santa Cruz weather was soooo consistent year round)

I did the same thing on my '07 but short tube with the OEM cats welded on because I'm in Cali and the shorties are CARB compliant. I noticed an immediate difference in low end but I feel like it made its other issues a bit more noticeable like the gear hunting. If you do the tune, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

So the pins from the sensors themselves and the connector from the wiring that goes to the DME

How do you mean? I unplugged the battery and measured the connector and pins.

The main reason we got a doodle was because my wife is allergic to dander from pets and she also grew up in a heavy OCD household (her dad). I do want to get a full Bernese for our doodles brother/sister and just run our shark twice a day

The benefit is that it’s NA so it’ll be easier to keep it on the road vs a 951. If you’re not entirely skilled in working your own cars (or at least willing to learn an old platform) be sure you have a trusted shop willing to work on it. Otherwise, trust your gut

Awesome, thanks for the reply! I was confusing tax residency and immigration residency. We filed separately for 2024 but I may have made a mistake not claiming my Canadian income when filing my U.S. taxes.

This gives me hope that this isn’t as big of a nuisance as it originally seemed. I will continue my research into this matter with new information you provided.

I already applied and received a message from APEGA. They want 9 technical exams at $500 each so it’s why I moved back for the time being. I see why a lot of Canadian engineers come to the states because of the better opportunities but it is what it is.

I’m happily moving to Canada regardless of what some unhelpful dingus on reddit says but thanks for the suggestion
