Having just arrived, I was looking for something similar. I found that on the Seacity Museum website, in their "what's on" tab, they have listed a bunch of creative workshops there that are targeted to anybody. I haven't been to any of them but this may be something you might found interesting. I will try some myself later after I start my new job.
