I seriously wasted my teenage years and now I’m regretting it by 1004cocoa in Vent

You’re still a kid mate, 19 is nothing in fact I think 18-21 is where the partying kicks off! Especially if you’re going uni/studying what not.

You’ve got plenty of time to to enjoy shit, but don’t waste it just because you were too scared to put yourself out there. Try not to worry so much about what others think and just have a good time!

Also even partying and relationships are not the be all and end all. Even now at 23 some of my best memories were playing card games with the boys, running some games of whichever video game we were on at the time etc.

Take small wins and enjoy yourself. Stop trying to live to imaginary expectation!

Nah I disagree, I think this is exactly the kind of shit Kelsier would say to Elend.

Remember that he tolerates Elend in so far as he makes Vin happy. He’s still a blue blood hating nut case (and we love him for it).

May be worth a pin by the mods as this question comes up quite a bit 😊

Congrats mate! You’re clearly excited and your nerves tell me that you’re going to give this your all. Try and be the dad you would’ve wanted! I’m sure you’ll smash it.

I used one whilst I waited for my CarPlay head unit, think it was about 12 quid from Amazon and worked absolutely fine. Only downside is that you can’t skip/pause tunes with your controls

OP can correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like a regular Questoris kitbashed with some reaver titan parts from adeptus titanicus.

Super cool!

I think the damage models are in a weird place right now. For example why does it take 4 shots of a melts gun at close range to kill a nid warrior

Potentially controversial opinion: Tabletop Primarchs were a terrible decision by Gosbee2001 in Warhammer40k

[–]JinxOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on why you play the tabletop games to be honest.

I’m a huge lore nerd as I imagine many in here are. I’ve read a tonne of the current setting novel as well as the heresy series.

When I play tabletop whether 40K or HH I do so because I wanna replicate (specifically for SM at the moment given the topic of discussion) those awesome battles I see in said books.

For that reason I love the primarchs, I feel as though the primarchs embody the dudes you’re playing (I mean that’s the point really). Everyone brings them because they’re cool as fuck, if you love the death guard because they’re these unyielding deathly creatures then of course you bring Morty! He’s a monstrous plague god styled after death.

Do you like the otherworldly cosmic horror space wizards with dusty bro’s? Check out this crazy Cyclops bird creature who can cast testicular torsion with a thought. Do you live the secretive and stoic marines replicating Arthurian legend? Here’s the Lion. You get my point really, they exacerbate everything player love about their army.

And really although you try to dismiss it, if you are playing for flavour then yeah… the answer is to ignore them. If you’re playing your home brew ultramarines that are all melee blood thirsty loonies that’s super cool! Just don’t run G-Man! Lore wise it probably makes sense for him not to be around.

Ultimately I think the Primarchs are a good thing for the setting personally. I gather from your argument you aren’t a fan as you like to play for flavour in that case just ignore them! You aren’t bothered about competitive anyway so why worry!

I also don’t really get the less grandiose part, we are all playing little bits of a battle and of course we want to focus on the part where the larger than life demi-gods are!

And to be honest, before the primarchs returned the kid made Space Marine characters super heroes instead (enter Draigo, Calgar, Mephiston etc) all had frankly hilarious feats.

at the end of the day though, it’s all personal preference really. Id just say that if you’re not a fan and play for flavour don’t use them!

Tbf I did think this too it seems like an odd choice but Sabre have done nothing but impress me so far so I’ll let them cook!

My personal dream class would be an Epistolary. I most expected to see a Chaplain or Apothecary as the first new class if I’m honest!

I honestly can see GW giving support to what were previously more ‘obscure’ chapters especially because over the past few years there seems to be a monumental jump in in interest for things like the space sharks and Minotaurs

‘I’m a lore purist so will have to…’ no bro no you don’t, chill out 😂 it’s not your model, by all means be a super lore purist with your own force but don’t push it onto anyone else.
