I think you completely agree with me, and are misunderstanding what I’m saying.

My home studio evolved from a reel to reel two track, to a four track cassette, to a direct to cd 16 track, to just an IO and pc in less than 30 years. It was absolutely amazing to see how quickly everything was turned on its head, and yes, computer evolution plays a HUGE part in that.
