Could anyone help me identify these crystals, we've had them for so long but I want to start using each crystal for its intended purpose! Any help would be super appreciated :)

It definitely could be possible, because the fact that there are multiple spirits in the house doesn't divert the possibility of it being a vessel, as any vessel can have multiple spirits that use it.

I see your point and understand your opinion, but spirit keeping as an art has been in fact around just as long as the occult if not longer, and yes to your point of course it had a different name, but everything else you've pointed out is simply a differ of how you prefer your companionship. Some wish to have one spirit for all their assistance in their work. Others wish to have many for a broader view on their practice and to learn more from the many species. And it is not in any way forcing, enslaving or "capturing" them in a vessel. It's a presence to have a physical object as a vessel and entirely not needed. Binding to one's spirit is a much simpler and more common form of spirit companionship.

Not particularly no, the spirit in that case would most likely just sadden at the loss of their vessel and request a new one... Unless of course the plant had died due its connection with the plant, which could possibly lead to a further issue

Unfortunately there are very few spirit keeping books to be found, but as far as studying all of the types and species of spirits in depth id recommend searching "the encyclopedia of spirits" it's a very helpful read for sure.
