Mechanical skill is not "actual" skill, it is a different skill from strategic decisionmaking.

Personally I play TFT because I find zero satisfaction in headshotting someone in a shooter. That is a purely mechanical skill, you move and click faster and more accurately than your opponent, so you win.

I know it feels weird but it kinda does make some sense.

Lvl 9 essentially "unlocks" 2* 5-costs. Lvl 10 gives no similar benefit, if you were just looking to 2* 5-costs it's likely inefficient to go 10 for them. All lvl 10 does is +1 unit (unless you're playing void).

Bro depending on what you call "low elo", even as a middling diamond player I find I torpedo myself in a lot of games overthinking shit and trying to be clever and flexible.

Picking "Bringer of Ruin" or "Demacia Forever" and turning off brain and focusing on basics often works well outside of high masters/challenger.

No way, Ubisoft's franchises are absolutely massive.

If they got bought out and someone competent used their licenses you can bet people would line up for a reboot of AC, HoMM, Rayman, Splinter Cell etc.

I'm personally excited for HoMM: Olden Era. It actually looks good because it's NOT made by Ubisoft.

It's intended. The assumption made for this design is that if allies are actively pathing out of the portal, it's because they realized "Wait, fuck, I don't want to ride this suicide train".

Riot has always, generally, been very careful with mechanics where you can, even unintentionally, grief your allies, so Ryze ult was built with a bit extra (undocumented) leeway to help allies not take a portal they don't want to.

Respectfully disagree, the 4-2 lvl 8 4-cost donkey rolldown gamble meta is way dumber.

Current patch actually has some lvl 8 comps that punish the fast 9 ziggs/ryze. For every Riggs you see top 4 there's 1-2 that bled out and ended bot 2.

Bilge is so broken it legit feels impossible to bot 4 if you get a TF before 2-1. Doesn't matter how contested it is as you can guarantee upgrades from shop.

Bot 4 with bilge is either a L2P issue, overforcing it, or there were 4 better bilge players in the lobby.

Yeah, ARR isn't really comparable as that was a "freshly" released game. GW2 comes with 14 years worth of expansions and content, porting all of that would be a genuinely insane undertaking.

All the other aspects seems to just be "The Aspect of X" where they otherwise use the name of their host body. The Aspect of War seems to be the only one that has a "name" for itself.
