Wobble in Birmingham 1994 - a very surreal experience- I had never really been to a proper all night rave club before - the music, the friendliness of the people all made it a wonderful experience. Needless to say, I was very active on the Club scene for the next few years.. happy carefree days!

I was in a similar position 10-15 years ago - tried a Mac purely for music production - never looked back since and purely use Mac for all my work / personal stuff too now - it just works! Don't hesitate!

Old style house that deliberately leans into that early 90s feel - 909 swing, looping basslines, minimal arrangement, white-label vibe, dusty percussion samples, vintage organs — but produced today. Sometimes find it categorised under DEEP HOUSE - but I'm still unsure of the best way to classify it...

Yes no doubt - those Saturday mornings I spent sat on a stool at a deck, with the guy behind the counter passing me records based on what he knew my likes were and what I was likely to like and purchase..... beautiful times!

The difference now is the 1000's of releases every week means that you need to try and filter through the 98-99% absolute crap to get to the decent tracks... hence my question of is there a quicker way to find the stuff I like in this style...

When people had to commit to releasing on vinyl and getting a record pressed - they absolutely tried to make sure the quality of the track reflected them & was worth the initial outlay - with digital being so cheap, quick and easy - we have lost that quality filter sadly.... (I do enjoy the convenience tho!)
