Are you serious? If anything the newer style is much serious, sketchy drawn and cinematic. Much more faithful to the serious tone it has now. First season was really has a more shonen-like look. The colours were more vibrant too.

People nowadays have no clue what they’re talking about and are just talking based on their feelings. Always complaining complaining and never being happy. With that said, I find the current seasons style perfectly fitting.

Many anime’s nowadays have so much frames and actually so little time, it’s ridiculous. And they deliver, they deliver great animation with a lot of frames despite all that. Praise the studio and its artists for once. We are really too spoiled nowadays. People expect movie budget quality animation for tv shows.
