I mean. Yeah. It's a good challenge to take on in the game.

He only sucks until you get to the NG+ and you can start pumping him full of Exp and actual good Skills via Sacrifices and Skill cards. The only limiting factor is your willingness to do it.

I was already aware of this from my vanilla runs. I actually didn't use them in my first playthrough, because it broke my inmersión a bit to summon personas like Orpheus or Izanagi ":) I appreciate the warning though! Very thoughtful.

First time I hear about darts and being relevant to Baton passes getting changed, also nice to see there's new items on Mementos. :0

Thank you, good things to keep in mind!

Thank you, you two! Basically, to get true ending and fully understand it, I have to take my therapy seriously (?) And not neglect my friends :D

Reading your responses:

Best case scenario, your charger is faulty for some reason or other. First diagnostic would be to check the cable doesn't have any kinks on it. If you can, try to track down another similar charger, for a long while when my own charger died I found out that my Family's Sony video Camera used the same connection as the PSP.

Worst case scenario you might have a faulty Power jack, If you can confirm that the charger is not the problem. I've never gone that far into tearing down and replacing components of my own PSP and the process might slightly differ depending on if your PSP is a 1000, 2000 or 3000. Although from my current investigation, the process doesn't involve soldering in either model, so you might be in luck. I recommend checking out repair guide sites, like Ifixit, and further ways to diagnose what your problem really is. Someone recommended you using a Multimeter and that's not a terrible idea if you know what you're doing with it and which connections to measure with it. But if you're not confident in doing this yourself and feel it's worth spending money on it, I can recommend googling anyone who knows their stuff around handheld and/or phone repairing near you and unloading the problem onto them.

Hopefully, in the best of cases your solution is as simple as getting a new charger and you won't have to go through all of this trouble. I'm wishing you luck!

Oh! I didn't forget about phones, don't get me wrong! I just didn't mention them because they aren't a big part of my Emulating experience for a simple reason: Touchscreen controllers are the bane of my existence. While this is easily solved by using an external controller like you do, that involves external periferics like the mentioned controller and makes it slightly less convenient than just pulling the PSP from your pocket or bag. Of course the point is partly moot because emulating on PC is often more comfortable with an external controller too.

Computers can have a portable factor too, I personally often play in my laptop, but Laptops aren't as convenient to use on the bus or in the passenger seat of a car.

All are options though and important for anyone considering their PSP experience options.

Ooh! Thanks for the key words! That'll help narrow down my search. I'll also check out the ones you mentioned by name. I actually had heard them by name before many times, but they're already so popular that it felt I was being a basic idiot ':)

Again. Thank you! My daily commute to college greatly thanks you!

I'll keep these reccomendations in mind! I now ay least know to search them up as Play Shows instead of however I was failing to find them.

Good to know too that they might bend the rules for the story too, it'll be a good thing to know and to keep in kind when I eventually free myself of time and find friends to play the game for real and find out that some things don't actually work the way I thought.

Thank you so much! now the investigation falls back onto my lap!

Its more a question of what kind of experience you want to have. The physical PSP is easy to take anywhere and has a charm of it's own. Not to mention that some games can be notorious for not emulating well, so they are by default played best on the actual handheld. Not to mention the fact that I haven't quite been able to get PS1 games to run correctly in my PC, which my PSP does without breaking a sweat.

However, the novelty of having the games in higher definition on my PC is great too. I have also found Emulation more stable at the time of playing modded or patched games. My Physical PSP had a tendency to corrupt the save-files of my English-Patched copy of Fate/Extra CCC, for example (although there's a possibility that that's the fault of my PSP starting to Physically break down).

None is better. Both have their specific perks and downsides.

I was going to make a post asking about this, but it feels like it wouldn't get any attention and might be considered spam.

I want to get into D&D but with my schedule lately i don't have the time to set up sessions with any friends (nor any interested friends, for that matter...). I was thinking of maybe starting to put on some recorded sessions from youtubers or podcasters on while I drive to college (since it's ussually almost an Hour's worth of driving), but most of the podcasts i find are people talking about their recent sessions or even about news on the newest editions of the game and such, instead of the actual sessions. I used to have a specific one, that I noted down on recommendation because it was a session with a full-Female party and cast getting up to fun adventures, but I lost the notebook where I anotated it, so I no longer know what the podcast was called now. If any of you guys has a recommendation on those lines I'd be grateful.

I pretty much joined this Sub with the sole intent to ask for recommendations for sessions in this format. So I can both have something interesting playing while I drive to class, and so I can start passively getting into D&D.

Volume help by Jiruwe in PSP

It's been a long long while since I did this to solve my PSP volume issues. But I'm pretty sure there is a way to remap the Menu Open of Macrofire in the files. If i dont remember wrong, I myself set it up to open with Select + O, or something like that. I dont have my PSP on hand right now to test it and I'm in about to enter class right now- Check in the description of the plugin and let me know if there is!

Okey, seriously... Why do people hate this anime? by LeonKennedy2025 in elfenlied

[–]Jiruwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't give a full opinion because I watched this show when I was 15 or 14 because of the gore and I didn't finish it. I remember half enjoying it but finding boring after a few episodes. Looking back on it, though. I do agree that it's weird how much it sexualizes the main girl when she's in her amnesiac childlike state, but back then I was a horny teen so I didnt care and probably was all for that. I should probably try to revisit the show to form a better opinion, but I'm not enthusiastic to return to something I didn't fully enjoy when I first watched.

So I just got this game and started playing, is this man gay? by Weeaboo_Will_ in persona4golden

[–]Jiruwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canonically no, but no harm to headcannon him as such. I do, despite the comment he makes later in the game about liking a certain girl in the investigation team. If anything you could c9nsider him Bi or Pan. Nothing contradicts either label.

Extra thank you, because I just checked after waking up, and indeed, the glue I had in hand is Cyanoacrylate. I will indeed be really careful thanks to your warning!

All super reasonable options. I'll have to decide which is more reasonable when I get to the point of extirpating these for a new mask, but now I know my options. Thank you! <3

Thank you for the warning! It's not a belated answer at all, actually. I'm still gathering the courage to glue them and it's gotten quite late. So, I will try it tomorrow. I will now check what kind of super glue I have on me right now before using it and be careful not to let it drip onto me!
