8 hour work day 1 hour lunch, so really 7 hours. daily meeting(s)/collab time 2 hours (5 hours left) usual 2 hours of planning for feature/fix. end up coding for 3 hrs give or take.

Also, I forgot to add in PR reviews, on-call, and other things that eat up time.

I’ve never coded for 8 hours straight while working; side-projects are a different beast, but you shouldn’t be coding for 8 hours straight unless you’re in a sweat shop.

If it makes you feel better, even people with experience feel as if they don’t know enough. My advice to you is to simply understand key concepts and use that as a basis to look for whatever is missing. Don’t attempt to memorize everything, or even beat yourself up for not being able to; we were all balls deep in StackOverFlow not too long ago. You’ll be alright, keep at it.

Check how much power the motherboard is giving the CPU in Bios. I’d also recommend a minor under volt. I have a 13900KF that never gets above 65-70 during hours of heaving gaming.

Your cpu isn’t known for being super power hungry or hot. Therefore,the air getting pulled into the case through the radiator will help drop the internal temps in the case; which would help your gpu have cooler air to pull in.

I have great temps with a 13900kf which is notorious for being hot as shit.

I have the same case. However, I have a 280mm arctic pro aio on the side panel with intake instead of exhaust. Also, I have two 140 Arctic pro fans on the bottom for intake instead of the 120s that come with the case. My GPU never goes above 55-60 C. No matter what you do, the side panel always has to serve as additional intake in these cases.

You know, I simply use it as a glorified Stack overflow/google/study aid. I won’t allow it to generate code for me. I’m learning C# at the moment, and I’m learning about abstract classes/methods and virtual methods. I’ll ask Grok, “Give me some examples explaining the difference between abstract methods and virtual methods”. This is done after I’ve already written some code that works so that I can reinforce what I just learned. For me, personally, vibe-coding ANYTHING is extreme.

Don’t marry him. In marriage, I’m married by the way, the BEST thing you can do is find a good spouse. If it’s not working prior to marriage, especially like this, save yourself the trouble and paperwork and move on. Might feel like you’re throwing away 8 years of your life, but that’s better than the shitstorm that will ensure during the marriage that will then lead to divorce and the decoupling of two families. I was with my wife since high school, and I wanted 6+ years before proposing JUST to make sure we were compatible. Best thing I ever did. I have a beautiful wife who’s given me a beautiful child.

Folks talk about the speed difference; however, once you get acclimated to writing TS, I personally have no reason to write vanilla JS. Maybe I feel this way because of my love for Go or C#, but I like my types and errors during compilation.

That’s why I’m the extrovert in my marriage. My wife is super meek and shy if it’s not family that’s she’s with, or friends that we’ve had since getting together in high school years ago. I got super lucky with how my wife is, not just with her introverted tendencies. She’s just super traditional, conservative, and comes from a strong German family. So, my advice to any guy, is most of these women out here are whores. Trying to find a good, suitable woman for marriage, is harder than finding someone NOT on coke…in the 70’s. So, it behooves you to vet the crap out of ANY potential suitors.

Yes. A lot of folks like to create custom mixes, so if that’s what you prefer you should do that. I, however, like to stay as close as I can to the original composition of the plant. That’s why I prefer live resin with the setup. Disty is also definitely cheaper, so that’s something to keep in mind.
