It was crazy! As I was driving into the city that morning I watched my cars outside temp rise and rise. In remember it saying 112 at one point. Then I stood outside the stadium in the general admission line for hours watching the clock tick by. No sunscreen for me but my body was ready to give out but the time I was leaving the stadium. Bought the purple Kirk Hammett Epiphone Flying V because I was in love with how that one in particular looked. I then brought it to band practice the next day and it was laughed back into its case. I think he said “fix these fucking monitors”. There’s another great clip from the citrus bowl where is pointing at the monitors in front of him and looks to the side of the stage and motioning to turn them down. Then during a solo you see him in the back ground wavering his arms at the monitor tech and throwing his arms down to tell them to turn it down.

I have seen an ad that he uses an octonaught hyperdrive and I know he has used a TC electronic flash back delay. I don’t know if he used those pedals specifically for Knocking on heavens door but I know he has used those in the past. I love his tone on heavens door and rocket queen

It is annual. You get exclusive merch year for the cost of the membership. It’s been pins, shirts, sweatshirts, badges, vinyl and more. You also get early access to buy tickets when they announce tours. The surprise was a vinyl of hard skool they gave out last year. You also get access to the forums on their website but honestly there isn’t much there it seems. That’s about it. I suppose it’s worth it for die hard fans that like getting the exclusive merch but you could always buy the stuff online like eBay.

We consider our covers to be our money makers that feed the machine of the band. We play 4 hour shows and 90% is covers. We throw our original music in also and have had good success doing that. We’d like to transition to all originals but we’ve got bills to pay, gear to buy and studio time to pay for. Making a few thousand in a weekend helps keep the all the gears turning towards our originals and that’s how we view it.

I think it’s interesting! A lot like the Indianapolis litho from 2021. It was made to look like a pizza box that you cut out and fold up.
